I'm glad to have found the arabic section on this site. I'd like to begin teaching my son (14 mos) Arabic early and have found a few good videos on youtube. Could someone possibly provide translation for this one http://www.youtube.com/v/8qu_unnQbac&rel=1

I cannot translate this for you- at least not without spending hours upon hours trying to do so, LOL! But I wanted to thank you for the video... I like it and may use it myself!

ASA Umm Sultan, KsoMom, KylesMom, & Everyone,

My apologies for the late reply - I just saw this message. The lyrics in Arabic are here:

http://forum.brillkids.com/aal%27rby/nasheed-(song)-andgt-arabic-alphabet/

And perhaps some of our Arabic speaking members would kindly translate it to English, please?

Enjoy!

ASA Nohayo,

JAK! I love this. Is it any trouble to do an English word-for-word translation underneath each Arabic word? I began a MS-Word document and am shocked that I cannot find it? confused

I set it up to be like the word-for-word English translation of the Qur'an so that the individual vocabulary words could be learned and then you read the English translation in the correct grammatical format.

What I may do is just take your translation and set it up and then you can fill in the blanks? And would you pleaseee add the tashkeel because it is vital for non-'Arabic speakers as we are learning the language. ohmy

ASA Nohayo,

Thank you for translating the materials into English for this beautiful nasheed of al-Huroof al-Abjadeeyah.

Since Ayesha suggested adding tashkeel, I will be ready to add it once she has completed the word-for-word format, insha'Allah.

WAS Ayesha smile

as for tashkeel... I'm having this problem which is that the tashkeel is written as a letter as in if I add tashkeel the letters don't connect Sad I don't know why, do you have any idea?

Anyway, I'll try again if it still won't work then maybe abuhurayrah can add it as suggested Wink

Otherwise, Yes sure, just set it up like you want it to be and I'll add the words inside... no problem Wink

I could do it on my own but it don't know what format you'd like... so maybe I can do it and then you format it or the other way around whichever in easier for you Wink

So for now, just tell me which way you choose Wink

ASA Nohayo & Everyone,

Ahhh - I don't know what to tell you about the connecting issue? I use Microsoft XP (English) platform with Windows and it is okay.

I will set it up and then you can review it and make any corrections, insha'Allah. It will take a little time because my schedule is more hectic now with attempting to write a course paper for www.aou.edu, insha'Allah. wacko
