1. Your points for that post get recounted, and that includes if it's been modified by an admin.

2. Quoting does not count.

I like the new system, but I wish I had found this site sooner and started implementing the technique sooner.  I had become frustrated with the YBCR system especially since my son wouldn't watch them longer for 5 minutes.  I am hoping to gain knowledge and good downloads to use.  I've only been here since last week and have already found many great pieces of info to use.

Hi Amanda! happy

When other members post on a thread you created = +2 points

Yes - you still get points for when people reply to your thread. This is only for points you get for posting.  To see the complete loyalty points system, please see this page:

Dear Lappy,

I don't think so...We don't get points when someone replies to our thread. I am quite sure of it. I have started a few threads and there have been replies to it, but no points as yet. Could there be some glitch in the system..? Would request you to kindly look into it.

Questers.

Hey,
I have stumbled upon this discussion because I was searching for ways to start a  new post.
Can someone pls guide me  how to start a new post? I do noot see any option to do so in the main page.
Also that I have got into this thread I wanted to know if posting a new discussion has different point system or is it the same?

Pretty much the same, Garima, unless you're the one who started the thread, which means you earn points whenever someone posts in your thread.

Here's the link to learn how to post in our forum:

happy Our helpdesk is pretty hefty now, with great screenshots, so I hope more people will refer to our helpdesk for step-by-step answers to frequently asked questions! To get there, all you need to do is click on the "NEED HELP" link on the upper right hand of the forum pages. smile

Hi
I have been just browsing, watching and most certainly downloading quite a bit of very helpful downloads for quite a few weeks now and am in the process of purchasing the LR and LM packages (the combined package).  My question is (and i dont know if this is the right place to ask this question), if these loyalty points can be used to procure some sort of discount on the packages.  I certainly dont intend to apply for sponsorship, I have some friends who I think can use that, but I most certainly wish to get some sort of discount on the package.
I guess I am looking for an answer and am not sure if this is the right place to post the question.

thanks... and hoping to participate more and collect more points smile

I think this is a good idea and would like to make a suggestion.  Very often I see something that I would like to comment about like "this is great" for eg. rather than just ignoring it.  Would it be possible to give say 5 points for an accumulation of short posts of less than 10 words. Could be 10, 15, 20 posts?? This would still encourage acknowledgements and not do too much to the system as these posts are counted anyway.

Keep up the good work.

Hi Indidee,

Discounts for LR/LM may be made available in the near future but would likely be limited.  Higher discounts may be available for limited periods on special occasions, like contests, etc, but all these are yet to be determined, so can't really say much right now.

Malma, we can consider that, but currently that is beyond what our system is capable of.
