Just wondering if the new system also means a new version of LR?

Just one thing which could be improvised is the autoforward setting. I am unable to flash the slides as fast as 1 second. Even if I choose the fastest option in the autoforward setting, I feel it still takes 2 or 3 seconds to change. Could anything be done about that? Could we be given an option of specifying the number of seconds we want the slide to appear for?

I want to purchased the LR if i purchased it this friday will the new content be on product when it arrive or do I have to wait for an upgrade cd to arrive and also when will the price go up on this product and how much will i saved if i purchased it now.

Yes, definitely. Many new features.

That's one of the new features - a play panel with autoforward settings similar to Little Math, and you can decrease the interval between slides too.

This is a downloadable product, so there's no waiting involved apart from downloading time.  If you purchase now with the current lower price, you don't have to install or even download it until the new version comes.  Remember, you are buying a LICENSE, which you can use for this version and future versions too.

Yes, except for all BrillKids ones which will be removed, replaced with updated versions, and classified as Premium.

The rest will continue to be freely downloadable until they are improved upon under guidelines which we will announce.

I, too, am excited to see the changes because I am really starting to see the benefits of early education with my 23 month old and also, my 9 month old. I am kind of amazed at how much my toddler recognizes. Not all has been through LR, we have YBCR and a ton of books. I am Spanish-bilingual and, LR does allow me the flexibility, although the whole playlist/category thing is a bit cumbersome.  I am anxious, as the main reason I waited so long on LR is a curriculum, as some of the downloads really didn't suit my needs and some were just lack luster. Anyways, thanks everyone- you  must be working very hard to benefit our little ones.  Thank you for a good product and also for enriching our lives.


* Question: What is the best way to make the current content in English,  also in SPanish with one picture? this is how I've taught my child both languages - English, then Spanish immediately following.

TP - Note I said over the weekend, which could be anytime Saturday or Sunday.
Friday midnight was just as a conservative deadline for people's reference in terms of cut-off date.

Meandlinc, you'd need to do it by using playlists.  For example, create an English category with just words and pronunciation, and a Spanish Category with words/pronunciation and picture.  Then use playlists to show English word, then Spanish word, next English word, next Spanish word, etc.  It will play back English word, Spanish word, picture.  Even though the playlist setting is set to Word+Media, it will only show English word because you didn't put any pictures into the English set.
