Greetings to everyone, and welcome to our forum Second-Hand Sell + Swap Board! big grin

If you have any used or second-hand item related to babies, education, and early learning that you would like to sell or advertise, you may do so right here! This place will act as an auction of sorts, and members can post about stuff that they want to sell while others can bid on them!

blush We will be allowing anyone and everyone to advertise their second-hand wares here, provided that they do not infringe on any copyright laws (no selling of pirated DVDs please!) and all transactions may be completed by auction winners by conversing directly through Private Message (PM).

If you are a retailer or manufacturer, and wish to sell products in mass quantities, kindly PM me or KL first prior to using this board.

HOW TO POST AN ITEM FOR SALE
- From the Forum Home Page, click on the Sell + Swap Board to enter it.
- At the top of the boards, click on NEW AUCTION.
- Fill in the details as completely as you can.
- When you're all done, click on POST.

Your new auction will immediately appear, ready for anyone to make a bid on, purchase, or reserve! big grin
Every time someone makes a bid on an item you auctioned, you will be sent a private message (PM) as notification.

As an auction bidder, if someone placed a bid higher than yours on any particular item, you will also be notified. happy

DISCLAIMER:
To complete transactions, please send a private message to the seller directly to discuss how you would like to arrange payment or follow-up orders. All sellers and auction participants are personally responsible for their purchases and sales.
BrillKids is in no way responsible for incomplete transactions and reneged trade deals. mellow

Uh-oh. You know I'm an ebay fanatic. This could be dangerous! Just one question--are you going to set up a link to paypal? It's a really easy, great way to pay.

What a wonderful idea! Can't wait to see what everyone has for sale. Not sure I'll be selling anything as I'm keeping all my stuff for baby #2. smile

Hi,

I want to sell my Little Reader and Little Math. I changed my mind about early reading and math education.

Who wants to buy them both for 422 USD? (thats what i payed for them)

Or maybe the admins know whether I can return the programs, because I did not do the lessons with my son yet.

I would be really gratefull, I dont know how to tell my spouse that I made a mistake since it was my idea to buy them, he thought they were too expensive.

Hi Lillyofthe Valley

I have no vested interest to advertise Little Reader and Little Maths, so I will just provide you with my opinion before you decide to sell them. If it's not for financial reasons that you need the money, I REALLY urge you to try them out with your son.

Right Brain Education is a gift that is possibly the second best gift you can give to your child (after love). You only have to see and speak to children who have gone through the program, and have photogrpahic memory, and have a PASSION for learning to know what a great thing you could do for your son by teaching him using the LR and LM. The flashes of images go into his right brain, keeping his right brain pathway open, and thereby enabling him to have photographic memory, speed reading and most importantly, to develpo a passion for learning - as learning will be so easy for him when he is older.

you only have to see the DEVELOPER's OWN daughter and the amazing positive experiences of early learning -
http://www.youtube.com/v/5MeboaOWEGw&rel=1

If, however, you have to sell them for financial reasons - then good luck with that. But if not, I would strongly urge you to reconsider!

I would urge you to give it time before you sell the program. My daughter was not a big fan at the beginning. as she grows, her concentration spans increases and she now request both LM and LR.
I also sold TW a few months back as she wasn't interested and I'm sure she would be these days.

It is because of this reason that I doubt about early education:

Dear Lillyofthe Valley

For everything in this world, where there is a positive -there will certainly be a negative. You only have to see the love with which the parents on these forums teach their children, to know that there is nothing sinister about early education. My wish for you, would be that you could see what amazing children Pamela Hickein and Wennie Sun have (the developers of TweedleWink), to see that this heart-based program, will enable your children to truly reach their highest potential and realise their own true genius. I have read many threads on that forum you sent me the link to, and I truly believe that there are some misinformed parents /caregivers who have not done sufficient research, and are slating something that they do not know enough about. I challenge any of the people on that forum to look at some of the beautiful children who have been given the fantastic opportunity of early childhood education - to - with an educated opinion - discount the advantages of early education.

I have had my own personal experiences with LR, LM and TweedleWink. Not only does my little daughter start squealing with delight when we switch on LR, LM and TweedleWink, but being able to read so early on has boosted her confidence to the extent that she believes in herself - that she can reach her highest potential. You only have to see how she tackles complicated tasks with a creative mind and she is always excited to learn. For she does not realise she is learning in the traditional sense - she is absorbing the wonders of what life has put in front of her.

Please do not listen to one side of a story and get put off. Rather experience it for yourself, and then make an educated decision after you have tried these programs out for yourself.

At the end of the day, it is your choice of course, but I would so love you to write on this forum in three months time, what fun you and your little boy are having with these programs!

Best of luck!

FYI - even if your little boy is not interested in LR and LM initially - if you play the LR and LM in the background, they still learn - spherically. So if you persist, and put them on, he may start gettig intrigued. Especially if you get excited about it yourself. So, for example, you could say YAY!!!! Today Ben 10 is going to learn about the parts of the body! (you pretend to be Ben 10). And you sit there and go ooh, aah, as the computer program does its thing. Sure as you're sitting there, after a few days he will come and sit with you and see what you're up to. Just remember to be enthusiastic about it yourself!

Hello there naufalakmal,

Kindly note that your post is violating a huge part of our End User License Agreement:

Important Note about License Keys:
All license keys are PERSONAL, non-transferable licenses
to use BrillKids programs solely for personal, non-commercial use on two computers owned by ONE BrillKids Account holder.
Violations of this EULA may result in deactivation of keys.

In other words: BrillKids license keys are NOT FOR RESALE.

I'll be leaving this post here as a warning to those who may be thinking of reselling their keys, as these keys will be deactivated and the licenses revoked.

For more information about the End User License Agreement, please see here:

I encourage everyone to take some time and read it, especially since this EULA governs your use and purchase of your BrillKids key. These rules are there for a great reason - to protect you, your purchase, and the integrity of the program which you have bought.

Thank you everyone for your kind attention! happy

Hi, I have the Little Reader Delux and the Little Math Basic that I am keen to sell so that someone else can make good use of it. Although bought in 2011, the system is like new, rarely used. There is one book which got wet but is still readable. If interested, please contact me. Please be aware that I live in the UK therefore there will be additional postage costs (looking like £100 when I searched online). I will find out what this will be if I have a serious buyer. Thank you.
