Little Reader books for almost 6 year old

I started using Brillkids Little Reader for my 5 years 11 mths son a month ago. He's learning but LR doesn't keep his attention for long enough.

I suspect that he will learn to read faster with Books ( stories with the cursor pointing to each word as it is pronounced). Are there any books , free or paid?

Knowing this is an older post I figured I would reply. One resource I have used for my 5 year old is actually a project I'm working on with a Non-Profit named Learning Stewards. Link is in my signature. Try the  Vocabulary Assessment and the Letterscope. It is an engaging, audio and visual based learning that might engage better right now for your child.
