We have finished judging the Write-A-Children’s-Story Contest and here are the results!

Our Winners

It was very hard for us to decide who would be the winner, so we chose two!  Our winners will receive 5,000 loyalty points each, and we will have their work professionally illustrated and include them as default stories in Little Reader!
   •   lawrencelb for The New Toy
   •   Khloe for Colors of the Rainbow

The Runners Up

Even though we didn’t mention in our announcement, we’d also like to give away 2,500 loyalty points each to our runners-up – they also made exceptional entries based on our criteria for judging!
   •   Koala Girl for Katie the Koala
   •   Mum for Penny’s Day at the Park
   •   Nhockaday for Why I Love You
   •   Nikita for Bears, Bears, Bears

We will also be giving our winners and runners-up a special forum signature button linking to their download profiles, so that more people will be able to access their downloads!

And of course, we would like to thank everyone who participated in this contest – and since we want everyone to walk away a winner, instead of only ten people, we are awarding all of our participants 1,000 loyalty points each!

Congratulations to everyone, and thank you very much for making this contest a success!

Huge congratulations to   • lawrencelb for The New Toy and  • Khloe for Colors of the Rainbow - the winners of the "Write A Children's Story competition.
Also to the runners up - it must have been a very difficult choice  - and I love the special forum signature buttons!
Well done all the truly imaginative forumers who entered the competition!
I must say you were braver than I - it has taken all of you a fair bit of work to get those fantastic stories completed

Congratulations to the winers.  I red all the stories and I found them all moving and unique.  So the decision to award some points to everyone was well deserved.
I found out about this contest after the deadline and couldn't participate.  Please, let me know when and if you plan to have another one.

Thanks so much!  I had a fun time writing my story, but I had a fantastic time reading everyone's entries!  big grin  big grin  They were all so neat!  I think awarding everyone who was able to participate loyalty points was a really grand idea as well.    Cool

Just downloaded and played "The New Toy" complete with audio and pictures.  The illustrations (and the voice) were so wonderful!  I am so thrilled with the outcome.  To see the finished product was such a joy - it is perfect!  Thanks again for selecting my story to do- truly an honor for me - and I am inspired to write more stories!  Thanks so much!
