Does anyone has any experience with Tweedle Wink program, please? We are thinking about buying the DVDs but we would like to know more about it from some people that have some experience with it. Thank you.

I know that there are a lot of people around here that know what Wink and TweedleWink are. But I did not know anything about them myself few months ago and I think I would share what I found out about them with some others that do not know RIGHTBRAINKIDS yet and their products.
I was impressed with everything they do, with Pamela's experiences (as Montessori teacher) and I decided to buy their Tweedlewink DVDs. I am now also taking the TweedleWink course.

I think that Pamela Hickens, the founder, is the best to explain everything herself.

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/j9iUYk9v3vw&rel=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/j9iUYk9v3vw&rel=1</a>

And here is an example lesson of their TweedleWink DVD which is for children 0-6.

Hi Pupisek
I am on Tweedle Wink course.I can say you can buy dvd's of Tweedle Wink but without doing course you will not able to know how to use that dvd's .And apart from dvd's there are too many things that you will be aware by taking course like what games you should play with your child according to the age.How and when to show flash card dvd's ,what is the correct time to teach them,a whole day planner etc.

I would advise you to take course first. And than learn the 12 techniques what they teach. And after learning those techniques you can implement them on your child. If you have your home made slide show ,flash cards or LR that's fine.It is not necessary to take tweedle wink dvd's.But if you really want to take and if you can afford than it is fine you can go ahead and take it.

My son is learning from LR.I have not yet taken tweedle wink dvd's.I will decide to buy tweedle wink's dvd after the little reader's final release ie LR final product.

Hi Sapna, thank you for your advices.  smile
As I mentioned previously I am already taking the Twedlewink course and I have bought the DVDs too. I already knew a lot of techniques since I read a lot of Doman's book but still you can always learn something new.  yes

I would like to share my experience with Tweedlewink products from RightBrainKids. I decided to buy all 7 Tweedlewink DVDs. It was very expensive, $40 for shipping into Czech republic and I even had to pay about $50 (in Czech money) more when I received a package, they say for tax or duty fee. I was not pleased - I did not expect that extra money to pay if I had already paid so much. And what is more - I was not pleased at all when I played the DVDs. I expected high quality DVDs for so much money but the video quality is not that high. I had problems with the menu of the DVDs, it was not clickable and I could not choose which lesson I want to play. I do not know if it has something to do with different system of TV system here. I found the way how to play them (I grabbed them). I even found some mistakes in voice recordings of the words.
On the other hand my daughter loves them  smile and says in Czech - I want Tweedlewink - every evening which makes me really happy.
I also bought Tweedlewink overview course and when the access link with username and pasword came, I was not pleased either. It is possible to listen to the course only online which would make learning really uncomfortable for me. But I figured out how to record it so I can listen to it anytime and anywhere I want. And I am really pleased with the content... I still have a lot of questions so I need to listen to it more times to fully understand everything they say and recommend. And I am really eager to learn about Wink as well. Has anyone taken the online Wink course?
I hope this may help others who are thinking - should I buy it? Is it worth it?

Martina, I would email them about all this. They seem like nice, helpful people. Maybe they can do something for you. I do notice some of the pictures are not high quality, and that bothers me, but they seem to be better in the later DVDs. I do know what you're saying about them being so expensive. You'd think they'd be perfectly made for the cost. But the important thing is that our kids love them, and I'm sure they are learning from them too.

I ordered the 7 DVDs as well yet until now i haven't received them. It has been 14 days.
I'm excited to play the DVDs but when I read your experience with those, i don't know how to feel.  unsure
Because that's really a lot of money and what I just hope right now is that my son will love it.

I also bought Tweedlewink Overview Course.  And like you, I'm not comfortable listening online.  Sad
Can you teach me how to record it so that I can listen to it anytime?

Thanks   smile

I couldn't afford the overview on top of spending all the money for the DVDs. I think they should give it free if you purchase the entire set. After all, they are making tons of money off the DVDs. And you'd think they'd want parents to know how to use it properly so it will be effective.

Hi, sheeka -

TeedleWink and Wink programs are created by Pamela Hickein, who had been teaching the right brain education for the past 15 years. It is a Montessori based program which follows the Montessori principle. It is a gentle learning program that teaches both parents and children to access the right brain to bring whole brain balance in life. The program will fit in any existing curriculum.

There are two parts of the program. TweedleWink is for little ones, from prenatal to preschool, and Wink is for children age 4 and up.

Right Brain Education is the education of love. Our motto is "relationships over results" and "learning begins with a hug".

Currently there are no distributors in India, however, you can always order from our website. Since we have our warehouse in Taiwan, there is no international shipping charge for Asia countries, and you usually get your products within 5 days.

Hi Wennie, so good to have you here!  smile

Felicity loved the Tweedlewink DVDs! She would always repeat the affirmations, which we would also remind her in appropriate situations even when not watching them.

I hope to get the Wink series sometime soon too!

Hope to see you (and Pamela) around often!
