1. Can I use points to upgrade to Little Reader Deluxe?

Unfortunately you can't use your points towards getting the Little Reader Deluxe upgrade because there are no "upgrade" discount coupons available for redemption. 2. What's the difference between Little Reader Basic and Deluxe?

We'd also like to clarify that for both Basic and Deluxe, the software, content, and license key can be downloaded from your Account page, even if you choose to get the physical / boxed product (which will contain software installer and content CDs). Also, please note that Little Reader Deluxe is only available as a physical product (again, you can still download the software, content, and license key from your Account).

The Aesop's Fables storybooks (Volumes 1 and 2) are sold separately -- you may find the list of storybooks included in the Little Reader Storybook Series (in Deluxe) also in the Teaching Tools section of our website. 4. Are there still 8 core categories of flashcards?

The new Deluxe no longer includes content printouts for the 8 core categories, and instead it comes with the Starter Flap Card Kit (for details, see http://www.brillkids.com/teaching-tools/starter-flap-card-kit.php (http://www.brillkids.com/teaching-tools/starter-flap-card-kit.php)). Do note that as mentioned in the bulletin, the content printouts are now available for individual sale, along with the other items that used to be part of Deluxe -- some items are available only while stocks last, so you may want to hurry and place your order as soon as you can!

I'm thinking of buying the value pack for the delux little reader and little maths. Are there only 5 story book if I do it this way as opposed to the 25 if I buy the little reader delux by itself?

Also if I were to only buy semester 1 content for the maths and reading am I able to later buy the semester 2 content? If so how much would that cost?

We're sorry about the confusion -- Value Bundle 1 (Little Reader Deluxe + Little Math Basic) will indeed come with the 25 storybooks as it was listed in the individual Little Reader Deluxe page. It seems we missed updating the Value Bundle 1 page for the new items included in the new Deluxe, so what you saw in the Value Bundle 1 list are the old Deluxe items.

We're editing the Value Bundle 1 item list now. In the meantime, please refer to the individual Little Reader Deluxe page (https://user.brillkids.com/onlinestore/ls-little-reader-deluxe.php) for the correct list of items. Basically when you get a value bundle, the items you will receive are the exact same items listed for each product that's included in the bundle.

I have updated  to  the  new LR  deluxe  version(i installed,activated my licence key   and imported  the curriculum content) but  after updating  the  LR  software  i still can not  find  in my  LR   Category  tab  all the  animated  books,which  are   in the  Little Reader  Storybook Series   included(i  have  the folowing titele in my  LR    Category  tab:Here is my Head,What i do, Sallys  Room,What animals  can do,Thas  are the parts of my Body,I like the  way, Friends, The friendly  crocodile, Smile, Yello  sun blue  sky.)The  other   15 Storybooks  are missing.
Can you advice me please ?Thank you

We're sorry but we do not have an installment plan payment option for Little Reader Deluxe, although we do have it for the Basic sets. The reason why is because so much value goes into one box that an installment payment, should the payment fall through and be rejected starting from the 2nd month of the payment schedule, is not feasible for us to have as of the moment.

The digital files of the rest of the storybooks is still not included in the software. We are currently working on the production of these files, and as such, we will release an update to the curriculum which include the digital files of the rest of the storybooks in a couple of months. Some of the books for now are made to be standalone products to be used to compliment your Little Reader lessons, with most of the highlighted words found in other categories, even if the stories themselves are not animated. However, rest assured that we're working on this.

GOOD MORNING TO ALL THE PARENTS HERE. I JUST WANT TO ASK FOR YOUR OPINION AS I'M STILL NEW IN LR. IS THE LR METHOD USED IN TEACHING BABY SAME LIKE GROLIER PRODUCT? WHICH IS MORE EFFECTIVE IN TEACHING THE BABY AND MORE EASY/ FUN FOR THEM TO LEARN CONTINUOUSLY. MAYBE SOME OF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED IN IT. NEED SOME OPINION AND ADVICE FROM ANY OF YOU HERE. TQ SO MUCH.

Grolier is very good for IQ, logic (Logico series and Fun Thinkers) and and vocabulary (Words, words words series). Photographic memory can also be trained with the Smart brain Training DVD's. But as for teaching babies/little kids how to READ, LR is far more advanced in its methodologies. And furthermore, it's customizable/ has it's multisensory sessions which will keep the child engrossed and interested. This is you are comparing LR to Magic English from Grolier. (I am in no way affiliated to Brilllkids and paid the full price for my Lilttle Reader set). I have some Grolier products myself, which is great!!!

Another one question I want to ask, for how long this LR set can be used to teach our children. What is that mean by 12 month lesson in LR? Does it suitable until the child grow up until they get into the schooling period?

Hi Addena!

Purchasing a BrillKids learning system entitles you to 'lifetime' usage of the software, which means you will be able to continue using it even after you've finished your payment installments (in case you chose to go with the installment payment plan option).

There is no time limit for when you need to finish the lessons, and you can take your time in teaching your little one. You can even reuse the program to teach your future children if you'd like to do so!

The Semester 1+2 (12-month) curriculum or Semester 1 (6-month) curriculum only dictates the amount of lesson content we will provide you. This is quite similar to buying a book with 100 pages; the pages will still be there once you have finished reading the book, and you can reread and revisit the pages whenever you want.

While we recommend our lessons to be played twice a day, five days a week, this simply serves as a guide and is by no means a requirement. As the parent, you may hold your lessons at your convenience, or when your child is receptive or in the mood - the only important thing is that you must never force your child to take the lessons, and that you must keep your teaching sessions as happy and loving as possible! If your child seems uninterested, then just take a break and do the lesson some time later.
