My son is interested in learning violin. Do you know any good teachers that you can recommend?

Thanks!

In my opinion, Suzuki is probably the best place to send your child to learn the violin. I'm quite sure you can find Suzuki classes in Singapore.  You could even write to the International Suzuki association and ask them for recommendations.  They may even specify it on their website.

Let us know how it goes for you!

Thanks KL. I've looked at a few schools that teach the suzuki method. They vary a lot in price. It's hard to know which one to choose.

Has anyone tried Crestar?

Is that also a violin method?

No Crestar is a music school that uses the Suzuki method. However when I called to inquire about their teaching method, the person did not seem to understand Suzuki much. Then again maybe she was only a receptionist. I would love to have some experienced parents' feedback and recommendation.
