Title: Re: Wink to learn chinese, any advice? Post by: diva7 on February 09, 2009, 09:40:24 PM I have purchased these wink to learn chinese cd's. They are excellent! The pictures used are very clear. The chinese characters are large and coloured. The one thing that I dont get is that after each lesson, beautiful pictures are shown of birds or flowers or scenery. By then my daughter lose her concentration. One thing I love is that there's a segment that has all the lessons on the cd all in one and played at a faster speed. Its fantastic for right brain learning. Although it is intended for revision. Overall it is worth the every $$ spent.
Title: Re: Wink to learn chinese, any advice? Post by: GloriaD on February 09, 2009, 09:44:23 PM Great product, like it - worth the money use it every other day 2 lessons per day I always make additional files with Pying to present to my daughter as I believe it will be easier in the long run if if she is familiar with how to write the pronounciation - so far so good no confusions and facilitate a lot when she is memorizing songs. hope this helps. The music and pictures at the end of each lesson is icing on the cake for my two youngest.

Title: Re: Wink to learn chinese, any advice? Post by: patience on February 11, 2009, 05:40:19 AM rainmatrix,
The Wink to Learn website says that it is best for children from 6 months to 7 years old. I have a 14 year old who used to watch these every now and then when I first bought them. He wanted to learn a little mandarin for a trip to China he was going to take this summer so he started watching them with his little brother and I. Unfortunately he will no longer be going, but he still remembers the words he did learn. Hope this helps!! Title: Re: Wink to learn chinese, any advice?
