We're about to complete the first draft of the French curriculum and would like to see if any of you who are native French speakers would be willing to have a look at it and give your precious comments.

we did something similar a while ago translating a whole specialneed therapy website from English to french . it was lots of work but fun to do and we really enjoyed it . i say we because we joined in me my husband and brother in law who works for BERLITZ SCHOOL OF LANGUAGE in canada , he even got some of his teachers checking our work . i believe we did well and our work was a great help to french speaking families to understand the therapy .
i hesitated to propose to translate the whole curriculum because i wasn't sure i can commit time wise with recording and translating everything  , but if it is to just check the draft i can easily do it , i have already translated a lot of it in the category section for my little ones , it is the recording that intimidate me a bit technically so i just say the words and comments myself in french .

I am french, my wife is US citizen. Our daughter has 2 passports and is then french and american...

I really want her to speak french, so i intend to use brillkid as a french/english learning tool as much as reading tool.
As we leave in china, my daughter has not much exposition to french (mostly english and chinese0

So I am very interested to help in anyway, and get a french version as fast as possible.
Translation should not be a problem, just some terms would be different (for exemple "clap" in first lesson is not really translatable, and not really used in french anyway...  ;)

Oh! That's exciting! Maybe I'm missing this allin a forum somewhere, but I'll ask here just in case - what languages are you planning the program in? Do you have other programs in the works? Do we have projected dates for any of the new languages/programs?

I taught French for a while but I dont know if I can be of much help as I am myself a FOREIGN french speaker.  I have started teaching Portia French and Spanish anyways. I have just started using LR to create lessons for her.

I am a native French speaker, and would love to help with that.... i have been looking forward to the curriculum in French.

Chinese (mandarin, simplified) will be ready next month.  We're currently working on several languages, including French, Spanish, Russian, Arabic, Japanese, Korean.  The first 3 will probably get done first.  Hoping to get them all out by the end of the year!

Thanks INdidiee and Rivka for your offer, but we currently already have quite a few members helping us finalize it already.

If anyone can do good vocal recordings, do let me know.  We'll need a male, female and child voice.

I lived in France for awhile and that's where I met my husband...he was born and raised.  We are teaching my 15 month old French, Spanish and English and he seems to understand all fairly well.  He may speak English a little more as we purchased the your baby can read system and he can read most of the words in the program now.  My husband speaks only French to him and I mostly speak Spanish to him and he understands both very well.  We would love to help with your French Program and do a trial if you are still looking for help.  He is already understanding French so this would be more to teach him how to read it.  Please contact us on your thoughts.

Thanks for the offer! We're already at the final stages of finalizing the curriculum. After this will be a matter of putting everything together, like getting voice recordings, media, etc.

I am a native French speaker and live in Canada. I am able and willing to help in anyway required.
