Title: How to Create a Category in Little Reader Post by: Lappy on August 25, 2008, 06:32:32 AM 1. Click on the Word Library button.
2. In the Display panel, click on ‘Categories’ instead of ‘Playlists’. 3. At the bottom of the left hand column, find and click on the + NEW button. 4. A new category is now created with its name highlighted. Type in the name of your new category. 5. Press ENTER on your keyboard. Your new category is now created. Then if you play it back it is 2 2 + 5 5 = 7 I know you can change it on the playback but I don't want to save it like that.
Is it possible to create only pictures with pronunciations? Also it would really be nice if I am busy creating something in little reader and I get a question not to close my program becauce I was not connected before I started. The best solution for this is to create playlists out of categories. First thing to do: Create a category for all of our number words and signs - make sure to have the plus and equal sign there. This will require to have words in them, but not to worry, you can change your playback settings to play only pictures and pronunciations. (You can find this located in the right most panel when you press the PLAYBACK button.) Next: Create a Playlist for specific formulas. With playlists, you can continue to use numbers and signs repetitively, and you won't have to create them again once you have them (like the plus and equal sign.) Last: Change your playback settings. For playback mode, choose PICTURE ONLY. Make sure you have a cross for PRONUNCIATION ON. Once you're done changing the settings, press SAVE SETTINGS so that setting will apply whenever you play that particular playlist. |
