How to customize LR lessons?

I finally took the plunge and bought LR for my toddler during the Father's day promo. I think LR is a fantastic program. I am somewhat confused on how to customize the lesson plan. I am a newbie, so please bear with me. The current lesson plan moves too slowly for her and she gets bored real quick.

First off, I love the format: Picture Flash, Multisensory, Pattern Phonics, Sight Words, Word Split, and Game. But---I need more advanced word lists AND more contents / words (say, 25-30 words at a time). I would like to pick and choose from the word lists and then put them into the format. But how? The "Playlist" in the "Play & Edit" does nothing. So, I'm somewhat confused.

Also, is it possible to control the stagger / overlap so that not too many words are repeated? Say, only 25%-30% of the words are repeated from previous lessons. And if possible, ala Pimsleur's graduated recall method.

You might like to look thought he little reader library. There are hundreds of word lists in it and many parents have made files on every topic you can imagine. That will get you advanced words, control over how many times you show them and your own choice of speed to show them at.
Once you find words you like they can be made into a course just like LR comes with but I don't think you can change the repetition amount as a course. Though I might be wrong.
Building courses is what you need to learn next if you want to customise as much as you are suggesting. You can search for instructions on that using the search feature or I will stop by later and add a link for you.

Can I customize the pics and words on LR i touch? If so how can I do so? I don't even know how to o it or a regular pc... Thanks

LR touch only does the standard course. Sorry. It cant be customised.
There are are instructions for altering voices, words and pictures as well as the entire curriculum, speed and order for the PC versions but I am having trouble finding the updated versions instructions to give you. I have my friends in high places working on it for you both  will add links when I find them.

Thanks a lot, Kezia and Mandabplus. I will try to customize the lessons.

It is rather frustrating to see my 2 year old getting bored with the word lists being taught in the first few days of the lessons. It's understandable, though, since she knows almost all of the words. So, I'd like to get her some challenges to keep her engaged. I just don't feel like plunking $$$ for the LR purchase into the toilet.

A lot of parents in this forum that have also done YBCR with their children actually skip the first 20 days or so as the words are pretty much identical:)
You might try looking through the first lessons or so and finding the words your kiddo has already seen. I used the rule of thumb that if there was more than about 25% new words I would show her the lesson. No point in boring her or turning her off the idea if she know the majority of a section.
Have you tried any of the stories as well? They caught Alex's attention and I used them as in incentive

Thanks. Abby is in rebellious mode lately. So, I think I'll put LR away for her in the time being, while I learn how to customize LR. I'll look on the story mode.

Hi. I have been adding and deleting words from Categories that I downloaded from the forum.
Now, I can¿t figure it out how to delete a word from the LR curriculum. For example, a word from Day 63.
