1.the vowels (which are 5 diff playlist)
2. the sylab, ma, me, mi, mo, mu and words like Mama ,mia, mio, me mima. and the sentence mi mama me  mima.
3.pa, pe,pi, po, pu. papa,pipa,pie,pepe amo a mi papa.
and so on. I use la pata pita(libro primero de lectura to guide me)

Thanks Evad3! I am currently working on translating many of BK files into Arabic (my dream is to translate the curriculm  rolleyes  but we will see...) Other than vocabulary, I am also working on Arabic Phonics (it looks like we have sth in common  LOL  ). The files are being created according to the following categories:

1- Alphabet
2- Short vowels
3- long vowels and soft letters
4- doubled vowels/ nunnation
5- Vowel-less letters/ Sukoon
6- Doubled letters/ Shaddah
7- Solar letters & Lunar letters
8- The Alif maqsoora
9- The Hamza case (A as a consonant), in the Arabic language the most difficult part in spelling smile

The next step will be grammar and Encyclopedic knowledge about the Arab culture and Islam.

As for the languages I am teaching my son, I speak 5 out of 7 at different levels of fluency. The other 2 (Chinese & Japanese) I am just learning with him at the same time. BTW, in Tunisia, where I am originally from, we were taught 4 languages by the end of high school (Arabic, French, English and an optional language, I chose German at that time). Then I took a Spanish course just for  fun at grad school. So yes, that looks a lot, but I think it is just the way things happened... Guess who is taking advantage of that now  LOL

Hi Evad3,

Thank you so much! I am glad you like the files. I'll do my best to translate as much as I can. I am working on that right now Wink

Oh, I have a question out of curiosity: which Spanish accent do you speak? I still can't tell  big grin

i was born in ecuador.but can to live to nyc at the age of 8 so My accent was influence a lot from the majority of latinos that live in nyc which are from dominican republic, puerto rico. so I guess you could said I have a mixture in my spanish accent. my girls also have that mixture.
Thats the challenge on translating the  currinculum to spanish that one word could have so many diff ways to said it, the spain way,the mexican way, ecuadorian way, peru, panama etc etc ect , I am not talking only accent. example for the word pig  i could say, puerco, chancho, cerdo, marrano, cochino ,guarro

do I make sense?

You make perfect sense.  LOL.  Thanks for your hard work Evad3!   As a family we are learning Spanish together, I just stumbled upon the Spanish Syllables.   I love this way of learning the language especially for reading.  I am very excited about your files and thanks so much for sharing!  We love Pocoyo too!
