I know this is an old topic but I thought it is one of those good topics which should be around all the time

ehem, I only got to those files now, over 4 years ago.... Well, with the latest LR version I simply cannot see the .avi file (yes, I have checked the override settings and changed it to "video on") How and I see the video please? Am I the only one having problems? I have been a LR user for a while, just not downloaded many LR content done by members....
Hopefully someboy can sort me out - thanks in advance!

Hi early learning17! We received your Little Reader crash report - I assume your Little Reader crashed when you tried to play the video, is that correct?

LR does support *.avi video formats, so there might be something in your computer that's preventing you from playing the video. To find that problem, we will need your diagnostic report because the crash report you sent only includes a few details in it.

I think they are supposed to be opened in Little Reader.  Only, I haven't been able to download any files since they went down for maintenance.  I've assumed that was the case for everyone else too, since the last download in the "recently added files" was Jan. 28th.  Or am I just missing out?

You can open them in LR. I have just downloaded some to make sure and they work fine .

The move was done early February this year. In case you missed our announcement, here's a link to the post: http://forum.brillkids.com/announcements/check-out-the-new-brillkids-downloads-library!/

You will be able to download all the LR, LMh and even the free-format ones (ppt, pdf, etc.) from the new library. It is currently in beta so if you do encounter bugs while looking around, please let us know so we can fix them as soon as we can.

If you're particularly looking for the PhotoEyePlay files, just follow Lelask's link for a nifty shortcut!

Tamsyn, the "Recently Added Files" is indeed outdated. Sorry about that! We'll try our best to sort it soon, but in the meantime all new uploads should already be in the new library.
