Yes, absolutely agreed. These will be one of the things we'll look out for.  I think it should be closer to 7 or 8 minimum, depending on the nature of the Category.

Well, the reason I said 5 is b/c that's what Doman recommends (I think a lot of people follow his method). Why does he recommend that? To keep the categories short enough to keep the child's attention. If you have more words, your child may get bored and look away or fidget.

Yes, Joha, there is a possibility that old files from other users will be approved into the premium section - but these files will also undergo the same approval system and criteria.

We will go through the files which have downloads of above 100 and select those which will be ranked as premium content.

If a file is upgraded to Premium status, will the original file still be available for download?  I think there are members (particularly those who don’t make or upload their own files) like myself who are not able to accumulate enough points to “redeem” many Premium files (as it costs 200 points to “redeem” one).  I think it will not be long before I’ll use up my points for redemption, particularly after I finish the entire 12 month curriculum.  It will be nice if the original files can still be downloaded and I don’t mind that the files do not have video and other extra premium features … after all I think they can still be effective in teaching my little one just like what I’m already doing now.

CP, you can always download the files that you would like to have now, or as they are posted ( there will be a "grace period" so to speak, while the files are accumulating the necessary number of downloads in order to qualify for consideration to become "premium"). And once you have downloaded them they will always be stored in your downloads ( even if you change your computers, etc.), so you can use them later when you will need them.

Noted but it is not only for me but also future members who will miss the grace period for free downloads + they will not have many points to start off with.  It also may not be possible for every existing member to monitor all the time on new downloads before the grace period ends. 

I bought LR last year as I thought I could have access to unlimited FREE downloads.  As I may one day use up my points, I hope I could still continue to have access to free downloads even though the files do not have the extras such as video to make it to the Premium status … some of these files are already great the way they are.  I really appreciate the hard work from everyone who contributed to the files and off course BrillKids Team for all the effort to make LR such a great education tool.  And I’m now trying to download as many files as possible before they get converted to Premium files.

Can we nominate files to become Premium? There are a few files I really enjoy and they seem to comply with the requirements.
 If so, whom do we send those requests to?
