Little reader and preschool

I am thinking about buying Little Reader for my daughter. However, I am still trying to decide if this system is appropriate for her.  She is going to be 2 in December. We currently speak Russian to her. She also attends Russian-speaking daycare. We plan to introduce English to her next Fall when she start going to preschool.  At that time, she will be almost three. Would it make sense to start the Little Reader curriculum at the same time?

Why wait?    You can start introducing English to her now. Little Reader is a great tool to help you teach your child English and other languages.
Some of my friends started using Little Reader when their kids were 3 to 4 years old. They are pretty happy with what their children learned from LR.

My son is almost 4 and is still watching LR - French(home made lessons) from times to times.

I agree start now. No reason to wait by the time she starts preschool she will have heard and seen written LOTS of English words and this will ensure her familiarity and success Lear ing English. Get started, she is a beautiful age to start right now.

Thanks a lot for your responses. I am just concerned that she will confuse the two languages. I was thinking that next year, when she is older, it'll be easier for her to realize that Russian and English are two separate languages.

When you get to 9 different languages you need to be concerned about mixing and confusion. Two languages is a walk in the park for children. You have nothing to worry about at all.
