Translating little reader to Swedish?

Hi,
I would really like to use little reader with my little girl, but we speak Swedish at home. I can see that there are several other languages but I can't find Swedish. Is there anyone who have translates the LR to Swedish or who would like to do it together with me?

HI again,
I'm getting a hang of this. And Wow! what a great program! I have recorded some swedish voices myself and changed some words, it's so easy!  And my little girls says More, more when the lesson is over (even if I show her the english version)

But I have a problem, I didn't want to change the original lessons so I cloned the lessons into an other course, I tought    and started changing the words and sound in the new course (the clone). But somehow I also changed the original one so when I went back to listen to the english lesson I hear my swedish voice and see my swedish word in that one too.... What did I do wrong?  And how do I change it back? And is it possible to do what I was trying to do, or should I have done it in another way, and it that case how?

You need to export the original version first, after you changed/translated it, save it in a different name, and import the original version back.

Has anyone tried to make a complete curriculum for Swedish for LR version 3.4?

If I understand correctly, then it should be possible to create a complete course (curriculum) that is the same as the English course. I.e. including Picture Flash, Multisensory, Pattern Phonics, Sight Words, Word Split and Game. The course should then be possible to export as a whole (with all categories included).

Unless this exists already, then I'm planning to put this together. If anyone has this already or wants to help, please let me know!

I will begin undertaking the task of translating LR to Swedish in the upcoming week or so. If Bjorn or someone else here would help me with this I would of course be delighted. Ideally, we should hire (child) actors or suitable acquaintancies for some of the voices. If you feel like contributing with female or child narratives, please let me know.

Unfortunately, even though she has obviously put in a lot of effort, the translations made by Iris Granstedt do have their faults. I don't mean to be rude or anything but one problem is that hear voice is simply too monotonous. My daughter got bored. We need something more vivid, as in the original LR recordings.

Another problem is that she uses the Swedish male name 'Pelle' when in fact the pictures/videos show a girl.

Great news Ted. I started to map out what was missing from Iris contribution (a contribution that I'm of course very grateful for). Especially pattern phonics seem important to me (since phonics seems to be mandatory for more advanced reading skills), so I created roughly the same number of pattern phonics for Swedish as exists for English. I have written them down here:

Recording the sound for all these is a big undertaking and I have too much going on to make any big progress and have only recorded two groups of words.

My plan is to get a complete curriculum together made up from Iris and my own contributions. Then I would try it out and see how it goes and only do minimal re-translate/re-record where needed.At the moment I'm not using LR at all.

I'm happy to help, but have limited time and can mainly contribute a male "neutralish" Skåne voice.

Allright, I'll see what I can do, starting from the very beginning. My plan is to translate one lesson of LR, LM and LMu every day, to have them ready for my daughter the following day.
