I am making some icons of my daughter for the Little Math.I am willing to do some for others as well.

Pick some clear photo's of your child, perhaps about 9.

Then send me a message here and I will pm you my email address to send photo's.

I would encourage everyone to try to make their own. It is so simple to do. Really all you have to do is find the pics you want from your hard drive and plug them in.

Though Stacey, are you offering to white-out the backgrounds or make the backgrounds transparent?  That may be a bit more difficult for many.

Know what, you guys could even create a "BrillKids Babies #3" icon set!

Can you tell me how do you whiten or clear the background in photoshop. I have Adobe photoshop 7.0.

You use magic wand tool, set tolerance higher or lower, depending on how much contrast between photo of your child and background, experiment with that. If you use magic wand with "shift" pressed it will add to selection, getting it finer and finer, probably will take you a few clicks. Then go selection, feather, choose @ 2, then use the brash to put whatever color you want on the background. Or create a new file, and drug the selection of yor child there... whichever you like... It will help you, if you know your way around photoshop a bit... If not search for on line tutorials, you can find the detailed ones, for beginners, and internediate. I wish I can write more in detail, but I am typing with one hand while nursing   Good luck!

Select the bg color in ur tool bar as white, then you can use lasso tool and remove background in ps.
