Another YBCR + LR question

With all the YBCR + LR posts out there, I bet this has been answered - but I couldn't find an exact answer.

I have a 10 month old.  He started YBCR in January (when he was 5 months) - so we're pretty far along in the program.  I just got LR and got out the Doman "how to teach your baby to read."  I made a list of 200 words and started creating playlists in LR with them - words that aren't part of YBCR. 

My question is - am I going too slow?  Should I be moving onto couplets and sentences since I've been doing YBCR?  If so, how do I introduce those 200 new words (well...any new word) - if we're not doing single words anymore?  I don't want too much in a single day.

You are supposed to do couplets and new single words at the same time. My daughter has progressed to sentences now so what I do with LR is write out a very short stroy using words she already knows and then show her that story. At the same time I will show her about five new words each day too. You can do as many or as little as you like despite what Doman suggests - just follow your own childs likes/dislikes.

Sounds like you have done a great job so far.
