Moby Wrap and other baby carriers - Opinions?

I was curious what baby carriers others have loved over the years?  I've used front carriers, pouch and ring slings, and the Moby Wrap.  My all time favorite is the Moby Wrap!  It took a few days to get used to wrapping it on, but it is the most comfortable way I've found to wear a baby, and freeing up both hands was essential by baby #5 so the home could keep running.

Baby bjorn is good for the first 8 months,, then I need to switch to Ergo.
At 25 months, I am still using the Ergo.. quite comfortable but no foreward facing for baby..

We are pretty happy with our ergo carrier and our 4 months old baby is  pretty big for her size.  She nurses in it very easily too.

ergo! 13m and loving it!  I loved the moby too, but i can get more done in the ergo
there is a new "moby-like" wrap the "K-tan" which is WAY easier and can be adjusted while you wear it

We also picked up a used K -Tan and it is extremely easy to use. But I got a med. and apparently need a small, so we haven't been able to use it much yet.  Hopefully when baby is bigger it'll fit better. But I really like it too!

My daughter will be looking for such items. She is due on february on her first baby. On my times there where no such things, only the stroller to take your baby out.
I look for the ergo at amazon and found it very expensive. Are all of them like that?

I found some links with instructions to makevarious carriers and slings http://www.thebabywearer.com/lists/Sewing.htm.  The Mei Tai looks very similar in design to the Ergo I had, the main difference I can see is the Ergo has padded, adjustable straps and buckles.

I bought a sleepy wrap, which is similar to the moby but much cheaper (around 35$) You also tie it tight to your body and it will stretch as much as needed, rather than needing to guess how much space baby needs.
I have a baby bjorn, too. I love it for its simplicity and ease of putting on/taking off but it is a killer on the back and shoulders if you wear it for too long. The sleepy wrap is by far my favourite of the two and I never had back or shoulder problems with it. The problem I did have was that my son decided he's not too fond of being squished in. He's fine once there, but the process of getting him in and also swapping him round if he starts to doze, is awkward. Now the weather is cooler, I might break it out again, though!
