For all of you who are eagerly awaiting DVD 8 and the digital format to download, I would like to share the following information given to me by Weenie yesterday (I think she no longer has the time to write here, but she is responding to questions posted to her on their website)

My questions anwered by Wennie:

Q: Are you still planning to offer digital downloads of your Tweedlewink DVDs? I live in Spain and am VERY eager to save on the shipping and customs costs!
A: It involves a lot to make it digital. We certainly would love to do it, but it won't be in the near future.

Q: Reading the debate in Brillkids, I notice that you announced a couple of times that DVD 8 would be out "soon" - What is the new release date please?
A: DVD8 is in production now, finally. :-) By next month this time, it will be ready for ordering if not earlier. DVD9 is on the heel of DVD8, and that is the good news! :-)

Q: You also mentioned in one post that you can assure everybody that DVDs 9-12 will be offered by the end of the year - is this still the case?
A: Yes. It is still on schedule. :-)

I really am sorry for the delay. The main reason is due to the lack of man power and our high standard of quality control. We are trying very hard to hire graphic designers, but it has not been working out, so we still have to do everything ourselves. Most people don't know how much work it is required to produce a well thought out content and quality DVD. We made many improvements and I know you will be pleased especially on the science and the redesign of the speed reading.

Thank you so much for your patience and support. When you have time, look through the Q&A on our website, it has many good answers.

By the way - how much did people outside the US have to pay for customs?
I live in Spain which already means $41,15 just on shipping costs :-((

that´s outrageous! i didnt know about tax, which tax exactly is it? ...did people in Europe (mabe even people from spain) have to pay for this as well??

you might try to buy through singapore or Malaysia as they might give you a deal via shipping, tax, etc.  worth a shot!

I have tried showing my daughter numerous times Tweedlewink and she is completely disinterested in watching it.  Has anyone else had that problem with their kids?  She loves watching Miffy and In the night garden (her grandmother shows them to her).  She doesn't like Tweedlewink, Wink To Learn Chinese, Baby Learns Chinese or YBCR.  She will sit and watch Little Pim for 1-2 minutes.  (she's neary 14 months now).

Any suggestions for what I can do?  She will look at some flashcards every now and then (not consistenly though)

Hi mtb999,

   I was facing the same problem with you when my girl was around 15 months. I didn't force her to concentrate and to be frank I was regreted that I spend so much money to buy Tweedle wink.

    Luckily I didn't give up, I try to praise her using the affirmation word that Tweedle wink use: You are special. You are loved. You can achieve your highest potential....Expand your heart. Expand your mind etc..... on her daily life.

   Then when I showed her Tweedle wink again and she react very differently. She will imitate the kid's voice like I am special ....I am loved ....and especially "I can DO IT" she will hold her right hand firmly and raised up her hand and this is something that really excited me cause she is so confidence in herself. In the "Well Done" part, she will just imitate the view and hug me firmly with her eyes close and smile. That was so touching and it happen every night  . She was so enjoyed that she will request to watch Tweedle wink everyday before her sleep. (This is some how recommended by Tweedle wink if I remember clearly the best time should be when the child just wake up or before sleep as they are more relax and with higher absorbance of their mind).

     I really feel grateful that I never gave up and I had made the right choice to buy Tweedle wink. I can see that it really help to improve the bonding between my child and I. So don't give up and try to show your child again after some break. Miracle might be happen  !

Agnesdecham my son LOVES the affirmations too. We will be riding in the car and he will start repeating them, out of the blue.
Personnal I almost didnt buy them. I watch the Youtube preview and thought "There is no way he would EVER watch that, it looks so boring" Well I was wrong! He is going to need to go to a Tweedlewink addiction group soon he loves it so much . I even lent one to my girlfriend and her daycare kids love it too.
It is one of the best DVD programs I have bought for him.

   I do agree with you. Those Tweedle Wink DVD programs are the best DVD investment that I ever made. It's really very rewarding when you see your child having fun and yet still enjoying and learning something in the whole process. I would said that the reward my kids and I get from Tweedle Wink are priceless. Our bonding are so strong  .I will try to get their latest DVD's too in the near future. Enjoy parenthood!
