Just wanted to update everyone.

My son's potty switch went off last weekend and he decided he wasn't going to wear diapers anymore and started notifying us when he had to go. Now he is having an accident only every couple of days and is not pooping in the potty as well. He hasn't had a night time accident in a pull up all week so I let him sleep in his underwear and he had an accident. Probably had too much to drink before bed, but he has a bad cough as well.

I did buy the potty training in a  day book suggested above and it helped with some verbage to use and a few ideas. I did not get around to doing the actual "Training Day" because it requires a pottying doll and I couldn't find one in town and didn't want to spend $50 on one off the net. So I am putting it back on Ebay for sale.

We are in southern Georgia. No one knows our town unless you know it passing through on I-75. It's called Valdosta.

We have warm weather here most of the year. Supposedly we are having our last cold front of the year, it is to be down to 38 tonight. But highs in the 80's by Friday. 

I placed my son in daycare first when he was 7 months old. His grandmother watched him up until then and couldn't anymore because of her health. He goes to a christian daycare now and is there Mon-Thurs when I am at work. He sometimes goes in and begins to play with no problem and sometimes he puts up a fuss. I hate to leave him when he fusses because he doesn't want me to go, but in the afternoon on the same day when I pick him up he doesn't want to leave because all of his friends are there. So I know then, that he is just a little fussy because I am leaving and it is early and he is tired.

I can compare him to other children that have not been in daycare and his social skills are above and beyond the other children. My niece is not open to many adults and when my sister-in-law HAS to leave her it is very hard for them and she cries A Lot! But my son is fine staying with family and friends even if we are not there.

Daycare is very expensive, we pay $100 a week and that does not include diapers, wipes or juice for snack time. It is also very hard to leave him sometimes. I wish I could keep him at home with me. But I am very glad he is in daycare at the same time because he learns so much and has so much fun and he loves to be around the other children. And if your child doesn't build up their immune systems by getting sick in daycare, it will happen when they start school and then you run the risk of them being held back because of days missed. This is how it is in the US anyways.

Thanks for the links anjie. I hope to teach my son to swim this summer. I have searched the web for stuff like this but had not come across these videos. She really teaches a lot in the videos and I can tell she is really good at her job. Karma to you for all of your time and effort getting these links!

In my opinion, and it is just that, an opinion. I think that 3 months is too young for flash cards. I think at this stage in their life they need to focus on moving and seeing. Take her outside and let her touch and feel plants and rocks and dirt. When you are inside let her have tummy time in different places so she can see different views each time. My son hated it too because he got so frustrated at not being able to move. Put lots of bright toys around for her to play with and definately make sure she has lot sof bright and different texture toys to play with and feel.

You can make the power point presentations and upload them to the download section of the forum here and people can use them if they have Little Reader Lite or Home. They don't HAVE to have sound, it is just recommended that they do. Once you have them complete you just click on "Add a Download" at the top under where it says your name and your points total. This will bring you to a screen where you will enter information about the file. You will choose Power Point slide show, then the language and the category it will go in, then enter a description and then browse to the file and click "Add Download". It will then tell you it is uploaded and waiting for approval. You can check for the approval status by clicking on "MY files" at the top and it will tell you when they have been approved, how many people have viewed them and downloaded them.

You are right, I do have 2003. I looked on the internet for a 2007 viewer, since that is what you used and I found one at:

It is a large file though, 25MB. But after I downloaded it and then downloaded one of your files, it worked. Now I can view all 2007 and 2003 and older files.
