BrillKids Software / Little Reader - General Discussion / Starting to teach reading at 2 years

Hello everyone! My daughter is 2 years old, and I´m about to start teaching her to read using the Little Reader. As far as I know, the majority of the parents use LR before their children are 1 year. My question is whether this program may really work for my 2-year daughter, or is it too late? What can I do to force the learning? Should I combine the LR with showing her handmade books (where the picture pages and word pages take turns, and which are demostrated at high speed)? Thank you!
