1  Products Marketplace / Second-Hand Sell + Swap / It’s been a very active week for a team that is on a bye. on: December 18, 2018, 03:58:55 AM
The Dallas Cowboys swing back into action in Week 9 Color Rush Brett Maher Jersey , so we’re back to predicting their game, along with the rest of the NFL. So far this season, Dave Halprin leads the pack with an 84-35 record (with two tie games thrown out). Hot on his heels is OCC at 80-39 and Michael Sisemore at 78-41.This week, it’s unanimous from our panel that the Cowboys will beat the Titans. That’s a lot of faith in a team that has struggled, but being at home, and with new offensive weapon Amari Cooper on the roster, there is some optimism around the team. Elsewhere in the NFC East, the panel likes Washington over Atlanta by a 6-4 count. Both the Eagles and the Giants are on a bye this week. Chicago is a unanimous pick over Buffalo, as is Kansas City over Cleveland, Carolina over Tampa Bay http://www.authenticsdallascowboys.com/cheap-la_el-collins-jersey , and New England over Green Bay.Here are all of Week 9’s picks: Bilal Powell might have played the last snap of his football career. The New York Jets running back needs surgery to repair a bulging disk in his neck, and coach Todd Bowles says it's potentially a career-ending injury."It's possible," Bowles said Wednesday. "We'll see how the surgery goes."Powell was placed on injured reserve after hurting his neck during a 2-yard run late in the second quarter of New York's 37-17 loss to Minnesota. He remained down for a few moments as trainers checked on him before getting up and walking to the sideline and then to the locker room.Bowles says the injury is similar to the one that sidelined wide receiver Quincy Enunwa for all of last season, but adds that "this may be worse."The playing future for Powell, the franchise's 10th-leading rusher, was already uncertain before the grim news. He turns 30 on Saturday and is scheduled to be a free agent after this season."Bilal's one of the hardest workers on this team," Bowles said. "It's a big blow from that standpoint, but you worry more about the person and healing more than you do the football player. So, that's where we're at."Powell has 3,446 yards rushing in eight seasons with the Jets Color Rush Jaylon Smith Jersey , just 1 yard behind Adrian Murrell (3,447, 1993-97) for ninth on the team's career list.Powell is the team's longest-tenured player after being drafted in the fourth round out of Louisville in 2011. He has provided the Jets with a dual-threat presence out of the backfield, catching 204 passes for 1,567 yards and five touchdowns. Powell had 11 receptions for 110 yards and a TD this season."Yeah, man, it's a sad thing to see that just because B.P. is so respected in this locker room," quarterback Sam Darnold said. "He's just such a great guy to have on the team. That's first and foremost, but him as a player, he's amazing as well. It sucks in general to see that happen to anyone http://www.authenticsdallascowboys.com/cheap-tyrone-crawford-jersey , but especially B.P., it hurts a little bit."The Jets could add another running back before their game Sunday at Chicago. Isaiah Crowell and rookie Trenton Cannon are the only players at the position, with De'Angelo Henderson on the practice squad. Elijah McGuire is still on injured reserve, working his way back from a foot injury suffered early in training camp. The team also has announced it signed safety Ibraheim Campbell, filling a need at another of the Jets' injury-plagued positions.Campbell played in four games with Dallas this season after being claimed off waivers from Houston. The Cowboys waived him on Oct. 9.The Jets had only Jamal Adams and Terrence Brooks as healthy players at the safety position on the active roster. Starter Marcus Maye is sidelined with a broken right thumb and could miss a few more weeks, but was a limited participant at practice Wednesday — a sign of improvement. Doug Middleton, Maye's replacement, tore a pectoral muscle against the Vikings and was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.Rontez Miles remains on the physically unable to perform list since tearing the meniscus in one of his knees during the offseason. He was on the field during practice, but Bowles said Miles won't be activated this week.Campbell was a fourth-round pick of Cleveland in 2015 out of Northwestern and played in 37 games, including 11 starts for the Browns. He was released with an injury settlement in 2017 and signed with Houston. The 26-year-old Campbell has 82 total tackles and one pass defensed in his NFL career.NOTES: Enunwa (sprained ankle) http://www.authenticsdallascowboys.com/cheap-kavon-frazier-jersey , CB Trumaine Johnson (quadriceps), LB Darron Lee (illness), CB Morris Claiborne (shoulder/foot), C Spencer Long (knee/finger), WR Robby Anderson (ankle) and LT Kelvin Beachum (back) all did not practice. Johnson has missed the past three games, but says "I'll be out there soon." ... CB Buster Skrine remains in concussion protocol, but practiced on a limited basis. ... LB Kevin Pierre-Louis (foot) was also limited.
2  Products Marketplace / Second-Hand Sell + Swap / The home crowd still loves Ryan Tannehill , even if lately he hasn't given Miami on: December 18, 2018, 03:37:17 AM
Tannehill's wife recently gave birth to the couple's first daughter, Stella. They also have a 2-year-old son, Steel."We're settling http://www.chicagobearsteamonline.com/bryce-callahan-jersey in nicely to a family of four," Tannehill said after practice Wednesday. "I put a lot of time and energy and effort into what I do here. But whether it's good or bad, I go home and my little guy runs up to me — 'Daddy! Daddy!' — and it definitely warms your heart and puts a smile on your face."That's in contrast to the frowns Tannehill's play has elicited lately, and he knows it. He performed poorly in ugly losses the past two weeks, inspiring hopeful talk among his many detractors that 2018 will be the final season for the Dolphins' Tannehill era.To quiet the critics, he'll need a dramatic turnaround Sunday for Miami (3-2) against the Chicago Bears (3-1) and their No. 2-ranked defense. And he might not have a lot of help up front, with two linemen out for the season and left tackle Laremy Tunsil limited in practice after suffering a concussion in Sunday's loss at Cincinnati.Tannehill's offense has scored only one touchdown in each of the past two games. To go with the sputtering attack, he had three turnovers in the second half against the Bengals , with two of them returned for scores."I have to play better," Tannehill said. "I have to take care of the football. That's what it comes down to, eliminating the turnovers. You eliminate those and we'll be in good shape."Doing so with the offensive line so banged up will be a challenge, because a longstanding knock on Tannehill is that he's prone to poor decisions when facing pass-rush pressure. This year it has been a problem for Tannehill only recently, coach Adam Gase said."I thought we were good the first three weeks," Gase said. "He had some touchdown passes when he had pressure. We just had a couple of bad choices, this last game especially."Gase has been Tannehill's staunchest defender since becoming coach in 2016, and there's no sign of his loyalty wavering. The backup quarterbacks are journeyman Brock Osweiler and the unproven David Fales, so there has been no speculation Tannehill might be benched. But his salary cap hit in 2019 is $26.6 million, which is sure to influence the Dolphins' decision about whether to bring him back next year. There's still lots of time to salvage this strange season, which has the Dolphins tied for the AFC East lead even though they have been outgained by 472 yards. Tannehill said he can lead a turnaround by tempering his tendency to be too aggressive at times in his decisions."That's what got me in some trouble last week," he said. "It's hard http://www.chicagobearsteamonline.com/dion-sims-jersey , right? You want to stay on the attack. You want to be the aggressor. It's kind of anti-intuitive to come off the gas and have a big-picture mentality. That's something I have to work at and will get better at."After 82 career starts, Tannehill's still pledging to improve. It’s that time of the week again. Another week in the NFL season and another week of Chicago Bears questions. The Bears are coming off a 24-10 victory and have a real chance to reach 5-3 with a win at Buffalo on Sunday. Even so, there’s plenty of questions to be answered before Sunday’s game, so let’s get to it.To this point, I’ve seen nothing from either player to have that impact a decision on what I would do with Leonard Floyd in the off-season. Aaron Lynch has been solid at times but ultimately, they aren’t getting enough out of the edge rushers without Khalil Mack. It’s quite possible that general manager Ryan Pace and company could decide to cut bait with Floyd in the off-season and recoup picks but the Bears are bound to have more than one hole with Adrian Amos, Bryce Callahan, Bobby Massie and Lynch all set to be free agents in the off-season.It’s also likely that the Bears will only be operating on about $25 million or so in cap space, with no picks before the third round. This is all worth keeping in mind when talking about trading current starting players and then expecting them to fill those holes with better players. This is going to be a limited off-season in terms of resources and I can’t see Floyd fetching much more than a low third round pick at this point. As we’ve seen for the majority of the year, the usage of offensive weapons in this offense is going to change on a weekly basis. Head coach Matt Nagy has said that he wants to get the running game move involved and I believe him when he says that. The problem is, even with Jordan Howard’s best game of the season, he’s averaging just 3.5 yards-per-carry and still not getting great blocking up front. As the weather gets colder and it becomes harder to pass the ball, the Bears are going to need a reliable run game. As fun as Tarik Cohen is, he’s not someone I want running the ball 20-plus time per game at 5’6”. So by default, I would expect Howard’s usage to continue to grow, or at least stay somewhat level from his 22 carries last Sunday. It’s becoming quite evident that the offensive staff feels more comfortable with the veteran in Josh Bellamy over Kevin White or Javon Wims. It’s crazy to believe but Bellamy actually led all Bears receivers with 83% of snaps. It backs up what Nagy has talked about with Bellamy’s value being able to play all three positions and his knowledge of the offense ranging back to his days in Kansas City.As far as Marcus Cooper and Dion Sims, I’m a little confused on Cooper as well.Cooper didn’t play well in the preseason but they opted to keep him and because of that, his $1.5 million contract is fully guaranteed with him being on the Week 1 roster. As far as Sims goes, it’s a similar situation. His $6.33 million for 2018 is fully guaranteed and on top of that, Adam Shaheen’s injury has kept him playing more snaps than he likely would have before the injury. Sims still has value as a blocker but as we’ve seen for a year and half, he’s terrible as a pass catcher. I’d fully expect he and his $6.33 million cap hit for 2019 to be cut early in the off-season. It would save them a full $6 million. This is a question that came up multiple times this week.Right now (with no practice reports), I’d lean towards him sitting another week. The same with Allen Robinson. Nagy said that the opponent had nothing to do with their decision Womens Eddie Goldman Jersey , yet he also said earlier in the week that both players felt about the same as they did in the week previous when they played against the New England Patriots. The reality of the situation is quite simple. The Bears felt comfortable enough sitting both players due to their ability to win the game against a lesser opponent and that likely doesn’t change this week. Now obviously, if either player is healthy enough to play, it could change things. But my early guess is that they’ll sit both players and get them ready for their three game stretch of divisional opponents in 11 days coming up starting Week 10.Absolutely not. Not only that but I think Mack’s presence gives the Bears a boost.I know it’s tough to go back and watch their performances in Week 6 and 7 when Mack was hurt, but I think the defensive unit simply lacked energy and went through a bit of a down spell more than anything else.Just to give you an idea, since Mack has been hurt, the Bears have got to the quarterback two times in three games. His impact on this defense is large and don’t let a poor two-game stretch make you feel differently. Not very high at this point. One would have to think if Pace wanted to improve his pass rush, he would have made a move for someone like Dante Fowler, Shane Ray or someone to that caliber at the deadline. They have a superstar in Mack, a former top 10 pick in Floyd and a $4 million back up in Lynch. If they can’t find a way to get it done with them, I find it hard to believe that a street free agent that hasn’t had a ton of success or even interest as of late, would be a good answer. To be completely honest, there’s only a few kickers I would feel comfortable with in big situations such as those. But no, Cody Parkey is not currently one of those. To be completely fair, there’s currently nine starting kickers that have missed three or more field goals this year. So, it’s fair to say it’s been a down year for kickers. Even so, I think it’s important for some fans to remember that giving top money to a slightly above average kicker, doesn’t all of the sudden make him a better kicker. My bigger concern with Parkey is what will happen as the weather continues to get worse. Luckily for the Bears, it’s become a league wide problem.Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network tweeted on Tuesday that Kyle Long was expected to miss six to eight weeks with a foot injury. With that news, that obviously means that James Daniels is likely to keep his starting spot at left guard and I would fully assume that Eric Kush will slide over to right guard until Long gets back (assuming they don’t place him on IR).Kush hasn’t played bad in his six starts this year, it was always just more about starting your second round guard over a 29-year-old journeyman that is set to be a free agent in March. The biggest issue that Kush has had (in my opinion) has been his run blocking and with being on the right side, he’s more likely to tasked with that than he was on the left side. I don’t believe this will be a crushing blow by any means but this is why you have good depth at these positions.
3  Products Marketplace / Second-Hand Sell + Swap / The Bengals got whooped on Sunday , there is no way around that. on: December 18, 2018, 03:08:04 AM
Injuries no doubt played a slight part, but Cincinnati is dealing with enough issues that a 51-14 loss to the Saints isn’t anything http://www.cincinnatibengalsteamonline.com/c.j.-uzomah-jersey to be brushed off. Some of the more telling answers to the game lie in the game’s snap counts. Here are the snap count takeaways:75 snaps to 43. That was how many snaps the Saints had compared to the Bengals. The fact that Cincinnati had the ball for that many plays was a bit surprising when it seemed as if New Orleans had the ball for almost the entire game. The Saints did in fact have the ball for just over 39 minutes, so that actually is kind of true. It is hard to say every week that the Bengals have to get better on third down. Still, this week Cincinnati’s defense never forced the Saints to punt, and the offense was 0-6 on third downs. Not quite the winning recipe you expect. With A.J. Green injured, we saw a taste of how the snaps could shake out at receiver. Tyler Boyd (41) and John Ross (36) led the way, but for some reason the third receiver was essentially Cody Core (20) who had two catches for 17 yards on the day. To be fair to all the receivers, Andy Dalton didn’t have his best outing. He under threw a couple deep balls to Ross when he had a step on his defender. However, it is still baffling that this team is trotting Core out for meaningful offensive snaps when he has shown he won’t do almost anything with them. Especially when this was rookie wide receiver Auden Tate’s first active game of the year Womens Jordan Evans Jersey , but he didn’t even see a snap or target until Jeff Driskel had taken over for Dalton.Speaking of Driskel, the Bengals used him as an option quarterback on their touchdown drive, and it really took the defense off guard. Then we never saw that concept again until Driskel ran it when they had the white flag unit in, and he scored their second and final touchdown of the game. The Saints have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL, so we can’t be too harsh on the defensive line. At some point you’d expect the defensive coordinator to bring a fifth guy on the pass rush more often, but it has become clear that isn’t this teams style. Jordan Willis actually led the way with 60 snaps. He had almost nothing to show for it though. For some reason Josh Tupou (42) played more snaps than Adolphus Washington (21) and Sam Hubbard (47), but it is easy to infer that was probably due to the score being so out of hand early. It will be interesting to see how this changes with Washington reportedly out multiple weeks. Jordan Evans appeared to be the guy at linebacker for the Bengals on Sunday. He played 71 snaps, but he is the player we expect him to be at this point. He is a huge liability in pass coverage, but a pretty good run defender nonetheless. Obviously http://www.bengalscheapstore.com/shawn-williams-jersey-cheap , injuries have forced him into a bigger role than he should have, but he got the most snaps of any linebacker, so we have to talk about it because he gave up quite a few big pass plays. It was pretty obvious the Saints didn’t target him by accident either. It looked like the Bengals planned on having Clayton Fejedelem play a role as the third safety to help out against the pass. He played 17 snaps before getting hurt and leaving the game. That caused the team to use more of Darius Phillips (42) who also helped fill in for an injured Dre Kirkpatrick. We saw an extended amount of KeiVarae Russell (26) after that as well. Some may try to point to those injuries as a reason the Bengals got rolled over, but they were already down by at least three touchdowns before anyone went down. The biggest question mark Sunday was the lack of Joe Mixon. He only had 13 touches on the day, and he finished with 85 yards. It doesn’t make sense to abandon the run as early as the Bengals did, and it really doesn’t make sense to take your best offensive player out of the game. He only played 29 snaps. That is unacceptable when the team is without Green already.Bengals’ Snap Counts#POS.NAMESnapsPercentage of snaps#POS.NAMESnapsPercentage of snapsBengals MVP and unsung hero nominees from 37-36 win over Falcons Has your heart stopped racing, yet? What a finish and a win by the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. In the win and subsequent 3-1 record for the team, many great performances were on display. As is usual in our weekly awards, cast your vote on your winner and sound off on your selection! Most Valuable Player:Andy Dalton: The Bengals’ signal-caller was superb on Sunday. Yes Youth Ryan Glasgow Jersey , he had an interception on his stat line, but that was a by-product of a drop by Tyler Kroft, who may or may not have been held on the play. Regardless, Dalton had three touchdown passes and his second 300-yard passing day of the season with 337. Dalton led a masterful 16-play, game-winning drive to lead the Bengals to a win. A.J. Green: The Pro Bowl wideout had some peaks and valleys on Sunday, but he came through at some critical moments. It could have been another massive statistical day for Green, but an earlier touchdown reception was wiped out by a penalty.Still, as he often has as a Bengals receiver, Green came through in the clutch Cheap Jessie Bates III Jersey , bringing in the game-winning touchdown with seven seconds left. The best part? He made the play in front of both Julio Jones and Chad Johnson. Giovani Bernard: Joe Mixon has had to sit out the past couple of weeks, but Bernard has filled in quite well. He’s ran and caught the ball well, but also has helped out in pass protection. On the ground, Bernard had 15 carries for 69 yards (a 4.6-yard per carry average) and two touchdowns. He also had four catches for 27 yards. Tyler Boyd: The third-year receiver is stepping up in a huge way this year. Would it surprise you to know that he leads the Bengals in both receptions and receiving yards?Boyd finished with 11 catches for 100 yards on Sunday. However, the best stat comes from the final drive. Boyd had four catches on the game-winning drive—all on third and fourth downs that all went for first downs.Geno Atkins: It wasn’t a banner day for the Bengals’ defense, but No. 97 stepped up in front of many family members who were present. He had four tackles (two for loss) and a sack of Matt Ryan.
4  Products Marketplace / Second-Hand Sell + Swap / Things will be different for the Los Angeles Rams this week as they look to rebo on: December 01, 2018, 03:15:31 AM
Luckily for the Rams Customized Los Angeles Rams Jerseys , they’ll have a chance to forget about the loss quickly with the divisional rival Seattle Seahawks coming to town. Even though it wouldn’t be mathematically decided just yet, the Rams could essentially close up the NFC West this weekend if they can complete the season sweep against the Seahawks.Let’s take a look at the matchups to watch:CB’s Marcus Peters/Troy Hill vs WR’s Tyler Lockett/David MooreThis was a relatively easy one to jot down, wasn’t it? Last go around, Peters was torched as he allowed two touchdowns to David Moore and one very long touchdown on a post to Lockett. Hill was better on the other side but his game never seems concrete and he’s always susceptible to a bad game too. Will the Rams’ cornerbacks duo do a better job of covering this time around? Can Marcus Peters bounce back after two awful weeks against the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints? Let’s hope so.DT’s Aaron Donald/Ndamukong Suh vs OG D.J. FlukerBoth Donald and Suh registered a sack last time around against the Seahawks (with Suh registering one more that was negated by a holding penalty in the secondary). Admittedly, the Seahawks’ offensive line and running game absolutely demolished the Rams’ front-seven. The reason I singled out D.J. Fluker here was because of his postgame comments which can be found here. It doesn’t seem Donald was all too thrilled about those comments:Rams’ front-seven vs Seahawks’ running gameLike I said above, the Rams really struggled to stop the run the first time around. The Seahawks had 190 total rushing yards and averaged nearly six yards a run. The front-seven needs to stay more disciplined, win more one-on-one’s, and need to shoot gaps more effectively. It’s imperative the defense does a better job this time because the Seahawks simply hung around too long last time.WR Robert Woods vs CB Shaquill GriffinLast meeting, the trio of Brandin Cooks www.authenticslosangelesrams.com , Cooper Kupp, and Robert Woods all started the game. Only one (Woods) made it to the end with the other two suffering concussions. Woods put on a route-running clinic with over 140 total yards in that game. Look for Woods to continue to uncover as a technician who creates major separation for his QB in Jared Goff. Shaq Griffin is also banged up and questionable for the game.TE Gerald Everett vs SS Bradley McDougaldEverett’s role in the offense continues to slowly expand as the season goes by. With 70 yards receiving in his past two games, Everett is proving to be a valuable weapon though he simply doesn’t get many chances to show it. This could be a week where the Rams look to let him make a handful of plays as he’s shown to be a reliable weapon in the past few games.Rams’ defense vs QB Russell WilsonAnytime you play Russ Wilson you’ve got to be on your p’s and q’s. In their first duel, Wilson had 198 passing yards with three touchdowns and no turnovers. A pissed off Aaron Donald and Ndamukong Suh will look to impale the signal caller, though the Rams now also have reinforcements which they didn’t possess in the prior game in OLB Dante Fowler Jr. Maintain your rush lanes, apply pressure, and finish the sacks when they present themselves. The Rams narrowly won the last duel with a gutsy fourth-down conversion on a QB sneak to seal the game. This time around, I think the Rams win comfortably and maintain a strong grip on the NFC West title.Los Angeles Rams at Oakland Raiders: Initial injury report sets up first injury concerns of the season Here we go.The Los Angeles Rams are set to open the 2018 regular season by heading up north to take on the Oakland Raiders in Week 1 on Monday Night Football. With the game pushed back a day, practices were as well. As strong as the RB depth chart is, seeing RB Justin Davis limited perhaps isn’t all that notable. But for ILB Mark Barron to still be out with a designated ankle injury knowing he’s been carrying various ailments since last year and (a) didn’t practice at all, (b) didn’t play in the preseason at all and (c) was limited throughout the entire offseason process including training camp does merit legitimate worry.Really though, it just comes down to Friday. So is the case for what transpired Sunday for Cleveland-area natives Kareem Hunt and Travis Kelce in the Kansas City Chiefs’ 37-21 win over the Cleveland Browns. Hunt went as far to purchase more than 100 tickets Womens Harrison Butker Jersey so that his Willoughby-South high school football team could attend the game. Hunt’s mother delivered the tickets to the school on Thursday.“It’s a dream come true that I’m able to do something like that for my high school, the program and the coaches,” Hunt said after the game. “I really wanted to go out and win this game, because it means more to me than a lot of the other ones.”Hunt made that abundantly clear. By game’s end, he had compiled 141 scrimmage yards, two rushing touchdown and one receiving touchdown. Hunt gave his first touchdown ball to a child in the stands.“I was looking for a fan or a little kid,” Hunt added. “It’s my hometown. I wanted to give back, so I found a kid who would really appreciate it.”Hunt said that he had been talking to Kelce about their return to Cleveland all week.“It feels amazing http://www.chiefsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-laurent-duvernay-tardif-jersey ,” Kelce said after the game. “I was a kid that grew up right down the street in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, dreaming of one day being able to play in this stadium in front of these fans. It’s a dream come true. It’s a cool feeling. Browns fans, I’m sorry we had to do it, but we’re about business over here in Kansas City. It’s fun playing with these guys in this locker room.”Kelce caught seven passes for 99 yards and two touchdowns in the game.Together, with the help of quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the Cleveland-area Chiefs led the way for the team’s eighth win of the season.“It’s kind of special that we are on the same team and can go out there and have a big game for both of us,” Hunt said. “He had a big game and I had a big game http://www.chiefsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-mitchell-schwartz-jersey , I think only Cleveland people scored today, so that’s a good thing.”Xavier Williams will live out his childhood dream Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium This Sunday marks the Kansas City Chiefs’ home opener against the San Francisco 49ers, and it is a day that will be like “a dream come true” for Xavier Williams. A native of Grandview, Missouri, Williams grew up cheering on the Chiefs in the stands at Arrowhead Stadium. This Sunday, though, Williams won’t be joining his family members in the crowd. Instead, he will be down on the field playing in front of them in his first regular-season home game as a Chief. “It’s gonna be big Xavier Williams Jersey ,” Williams said about the game. “My family is going to come out and see me play and it’ll be their first time seeing me play in a NFL game. My whole family’s from here. I don’t even think words can describe how excited they are. My mom’s been getting ready for this since the day I signed.”However, his mom isn’t the only one getting ready for Sunday. Williams also anticipates a more energized Chiefs football team given the preferred and long-awaited environment that is Arrowhead Stadium. “Everybody loves playing a home game, get a home cooked meal, hang around your family before and after the game,” Williams said. “I think the whole team is going to feel more lively playing in front of the whole crowd especially for the first time. [We’ll] get Arrowhead rocking.”But aside from all of the excitement and emotion, Sunday, at the end of the day, is another opportunity for Williams to go out and continue to push himself to help his team. “I think it’s been a pretty good season so far Authentic Harrison Butker Jersey , but feel like it can definitely get a lot better of me personally,” Williams said on his personal evaluation of his play. “It’s only the first two weeks of the season, so there’s plenty of time to still improve and get to where I want to be, but being 2-0 you can’t complain to much.”

Mahomes finds Hunt then Watkins for a combined 17 yards and then, sees an opportunity and puts his arm strength on full display in quick 10 yard pass to Spencer Ware at half field. Mahomes then connects with Hill then Hunt 19 yards and then scrambles up the field for 10 yards of his own to put the Chiefs at the Bengal’s 21. Bengals fumble on the punt and Chiefs offense takes the field.First quarterChiefs start at their 23 and Mahomes finds TE Travis Kelce for a huge 43 yard gain. Then Mahomes finds Sammy Watkins who appears to catch the ball, but after a play review, it’s called incomplete. Chiefs end the drive by going for a field goal, which Butker barely misses — his first miss of the season.Harrison Butker kicks to the Bengal’s 1 and Cincinnati gains 11 yards before getting a false start penalty called and enforced at their 20. They don’t make it far before Dee Ford comes up big for the Chiefs with a sack on Bengal’s QB Andy Dalton on third down, forcing him to fumble. where they have to let go of something they love; a toxic friendship Customized Green Bay Packers Jerseys , a beloved pet, or a pair of Super Mario sneakers that lit up with every step you took that you wore every day even though they were 3 sizes too small but you didn’t care and curled your toes up and walked on blisters just to look cool to your third grade peers. Trust me, those shoes were amazing. In Aaron Rodgers’ case, it’s time for him to let go of the football.I’m not saying he needs to let go of football the sport and retire, but to instead get the ball out of his hands on time.Aaron Rodgers is an all-time great quarterback, and part of what makes him special is his ability to navigate the pocket and extend the length of passing plays which can lead to more open receivers downfield. On the flip side of that same coin, it gets him sacked a lot. With the knee injury that he suffered in week 1, Rodgers has a severely limited ability to escape initial pressure but he still chooses, at times, to hold on to the ball too long.Compounding this issue is a lack of aggressiveness from Rodgers throwing the ball into tight windows. In 2016, Rodgers ranked 32nd out of 39 eligible quarterbacks in NFL Next Gen Stats’ Aggressiveness %.In 2017, he was 35th out of 41 (Brett Hundley was 40th).So far through four weeks in 2018, he’s 36th out of 37.Of course a lot of factors go into this, but it is one indicator of the problem. The unwillingness to throw into tight windows hasn’t drastically hindered the offense; part of this is because Rodgers is very good at finding the open receiver on any given play, and part of this is because even when receivers are covered, Rodgers’ ball placement makes the catches easier for his receivers. But, as Rodgers stated himself after their week four win against the Buffalo Bills Womens Jamaal Williams Jersey , the offense hasn’t had much rhythm and has generally left opportunities missed. If you’re having trouble picturing what I’m talking about, well, you’re in luck. I’m going to go week by week and show you examples of where Rodgers should have pulled the trigger and, for reasons unknown, left a play on the table. Important caveat: Rodgers is still the best in the world and can do things that no one else on this earth can do with a football, so please do not misconstrue my words into thinking Tim Boyle should be our starter - this is merely a collection of missed opportunities so far in 2018.Why not start at one of the best football games in recent history? While Rodgers played brilliantly in the second half in week one against Chicago, a lack of trust was already beginning to develop.Down 17 with 1:32 to go in the third quarter, Rodgers inexplicably looked off two open receivers in the middle of the field and ended up with an intentional grounding.Perhaps he was trying to pad his stats, as he got the yardage back as well as a first down on the very next play, but it was a head scratcher. Here’s the behind angle:Both Adams and Graham, the only two receivers in which Rodgers is looking, are both open (Graham more so than Adams). If the ball comes out on time, this is an easy reception. This habit carried into the second game against Minnesota. In the first quarter, Green Bay runs a clearout for Adams off of play-action.As soon as Adams makes his break inside he throttles down a bit, as he recognizes there is a middle linebacker 12 yards in front of him.The linebacker doesn’t see him and continues to backpedal, and Adams has nobody particularly close to him.Nope. Rodgers holds on to the ball and has to throw a dumpoff pass to Montgomery that falls incomplete. When Rogers is at the end of his drop, This is what he’s looking at (that’s Adams in the top left corner):Lay the ball between each linebacker and it’s 10+ yards. Here Womens Geronimo Allison Jersey , again against Minnesota, Rodgers has his eyes on Geronimo Allison. This one isn’t as egregious; Allison has three defenders who are all about three yards away from him, but this is still a throw Aaron Rodgers can, and has in the past, made.Harrison Smith eventually covers up Allison well, but there’s a window at the top of Rodgers’ drop to deliver this ball.If the throw is to Allison’s body, and not out in front of him, the only way Smith makes a play on the ball is to go through Allison.Allison either draws a DPI if Smith is there too soon, or he makes a catch and absorbs a hit.If you want to avoid Allison getting hit, throw it to his back shoulder which makes him stop running or throw it in the dirt at his feet and the play is done - just don’t hold on to the ball and absorb a sack. The week three game against Washington had more missed connections than the classified ads of Craigslist.Rodgers wasn’t seeing the field well at all, and when it appeared he did see his receivers, he was unwilling to sling it.On Green Bay’s first offensive snap, Rodgers looks off the safety in the middle of the field and Davante Adams beats his guy. This is a typically routine pickup for a healthy, confident Rodgers.Instead, after missing Adams and not pulling the trigger on a pass to a crossing Allison, Rodgers reverts to sandlot football and throws an incompletion. The misses and hesitations continued throughout the afternoon.Jimmy Graham in the red zone (or Aaron Jones underneath).Graham in the red zone again.Randall Cobb over the middle in the fourth quarter for a likely TD.And, a personal favorite of mine Womens Lane Taylor Jersey , the double look-off that came in the fourth quarter:Think he was looking somewhere else? Look again:What else do you want as a receiver? Jimmy Graham is a guaranteed two yards at the very least.Aaron Jones, three yards.Rodgers had his eye on both of them and didn’t throw the football. While you needed five for a first down, it was only second down; instead, a throwaway on second down keeps you at 3rd & 5 without even giving your playmakers an opportunity to do something more. The problems in the Buffalo game were less of a ‘Rodgers not letting go of the football’ problem, and more of a ‘scheming for our best playmakers’ problem (and “problem” is relative, as the score was 22-0), but the hesitations still popped up every now and then.Rodgers held off on a throw to Marquez Valdes-Scantling in the endzone instead opting to comeback to Ty Montgomery, and, despite routinely beating the Buffalo cornerbacks on curl routes during the game, deciding not to throw a pass to either Graham or Davante Adams. Both of those plays were during the first quarter and as the game progressed Rodgers did seem more comfortable to sling the ball in tighter windows, but it wasn’t enough to buck a concerning trend.Again, this isn’t to say that we need to re-evaluate the quarterback position in Green Bay.Rodgers is still tremendous, but the offense is running at less than 100% and this tendency is one of the reasons why.Packers Thursday Injury Report: Davante Adams upgraded to limited in practice The Green Bay Packers practiced in full pads on Thursday, preparing for one of the toughest games of the early part of the team’s 2018 schedule. With the Minnesota Vikings coming to town in week two, all eyes will be on the Packers’ injured stars, Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams. Although there was no change in the practice status for the team’s star quarterback — he remained a non-participant due to his knee injury — there was good news for the top wide receiver.Adams was listed as a limited participant in Thursday’s practice, a step up from Wednesday when he did not participate. Adams is dealing with a shoulder injury that he suffered in the fourth quarter of the Packers’ week one win over the Chicago Bears Authentic Mike Daniels Jersey , and although his public comments indicate that he intends to play, that status is not quite certain.Last year, Adams played in just one of the Packers’ two games against Minnesota. He caught five of ten targets for 54 yards and a touchdown in week six, the game when Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone. However, he was inactive for the week 16 contest, as he had suffered a concussion the week before on a dirty hit by Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis. As for Rodgers, both he and head coach Mike McCarthy have said that the two-time MVP does not need to practice at all this week to be ready to play on Sunday. It is possible that he could suit up in some fashion on Saturday, but barring some unexpected setback, he will probably sit until Sunday afternoon rolls around. The one notable addition to the Vikings’ report is defensive end Everson Griffen, who popped up on the Thursday report with a toe injury. Keep an eye on his game status on Friday to see if this becomes a more significant issue that might keep him out or limited on Sunday. Here are the teams’ injury reports for Thursday (players with different statuses from Wednesday are shown in italics).Packers Thursday Practice ReportLimited Participation: WR Davante Adams (shoulder), ILB Oren Burks (shoulder)Did Not Participate: S Josh Jones (ankle), QB Aaron Rodgers (knee)Vikings Thursday Injury ReportFull Participation: CB Mackensie Alexander (ankle), RB Roc Thomas (ankle), CB Trae Waynes (knee)Limited Participation: C Pat Elflein (ankle/shoulder), DE Everson Griffen (toe)

John Ross for “a few weeks” after he aggravated the groin injury he originally suffered against the Atlanta Falcons in Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Chiefs. This according to Mike Garafolo:There are varying reports though Womens Alex Redmond Jersey , as on Wednesday, ESPN’s Katherine Terrell reported that a timetable has not been determined for Ross’ return and he hasn’t been ruled out for Sunday:The Bengals play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday and then have a Week 9 bye before hosting the New Orleans Saints in Week 10. With Ross sidelined, the Bengals will look to rely more on Alex Erickson and Cody Core in addition to starters A.J. Green and Tyler Boyd.Ross has had an injury-plagued last two years with the Bengals after being selected with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft. This season he’s played in five games and has seven catches for 79 yards and two touchdowns. Ross was targeted once on Sunday but did not complete the catch. He received no other targets and was ruled out in the second half with the groin injury.Ross’ career has gotten off to a rocky start, but hopefully he’ll return to the field healthy shortly after the bye week and contribute to the team in a meaningful way. The team could surely use him against the Saints’ highly impressive offense that can stretch the field with ease. The Bengals moved Auden Tate from the roster to the practice squad last week and while it’s possible he could return to the active roster, I’d imagine the Bengals will stick with what they have for now. Josh Malone was inactive last week against the Chiefs, but he’ll likely be active again on Sunday with Ross out. It was a whirlwind game for the Bengals against the Buccaneers on Sunday, as they relented what was once a 21-point lead. Even so, there were a bunch of major contributors in the team’s 37-34. We’ve got a couple of different awards than usual Bengals Nick Vigil Jersey , so cast your vote and sound off on your winners in each!Offensive MVPThis award is pretty obvious—it goes to the biggest contributor on the offensive side of the ball. In the first half, Cincinnati had quite a few big plays from some of their biggest stars.Andy Dalton: Though the offense hit a major lull in the second half, Dalton had a pretty solid game. He threw for 280 yards, two touchdowns and didn’t commit a turnover. He also led his 24th game-winning drive in his career, as he led the team down for the winning field goal as time expired. A.J. Green: The star wideout had a slow beginning to the game, but did have a critical, highlight-reel touchdown catch in the first half. He was also Dalton’s go-to guy in crunch time, securing two big catches for 34 yards to set Randy Bullock up for a manageable field goal attempt.Joe Mixon: Like the rest of the offense http://www.bengalscheapshop.com/cheap-authentic-c.j.-uzomah-jersey , Mixon trailed off in the second half, but had an absolutely superb first half. He finished with 123 rushing yards on 21 carries (a 5.9 average) and two touchdowns. He also added three receptions for 15 yards. Tyler Boyd: This kid has to be in consideration for Offensive MVP through the first half of the season. Without Dalton having John Ross, Tyler Eifert and Tyler Kroft at his disposal, Boyd has become a favorite target of Dalton’s through the first eight games. Sunday afternoon was no exception, as Boyd notched nine receptions for 138 yards and a score.
9  Products Marketplace / Second-Hand Sell + Swap / Panthers RB Christian McCaffrey could be the Kryptonite of the Bengals defense on: November 13, 2018, 02:32:57 AM
While the Bengals have some talented linebackers Womens Sam Hubbard Jersey , pass coverage is not their strong suit.Enter Christian McCaffrey. McCaffrey is a talented rusher, but what sets him apart is his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield and make people miss in space. The Bengals enter their Week 3 game with the Carolina Panthers with a record of 2-0. If they want to have any chance of keeping their winning streak alive, defensive coordinator Teryl Austin must figure out how to contain McCaffrey. After releasing into the flat at the top of the screen, McCaffrey adjusts well to the ball throw which is thrown behind him. He then accelerates outrunning the defender pursuing him from the inside and beating the outside defender to the edge. McCaffrey’s ability to get going in a hurry means that he can turn a short pass into a big play. Here, he catches a short pass and converts it into a first down. The Bengals must prevent him from turning short passes into drive extending plays. Not only is McCaffrey’s quickness off the charts, but he has incredible agility. This play is similar to the one above. Panthers quarterback Cam Newton throws a short pass to McCaffrey in the flat. Cowboys linebacker Jaylon Smith approaches McCaffrey and breaks down to make the tackle, but McCaffrey instead makes Smith look silly. He jukes to the inside, leaving Smith in a cloud of his dust, then cuts back to the outside running away from pursuit. In order to contain McCaffrey http://www.cincinnatibengalsteamonline.com/sam-hubbard-jersey , the Bengals will need to have multiple players break on the ball and funnel him into a confined space. When McCaffrey catches a ball in the flat, he at least has the sideline to contain him. In the middle of the field, he is even more difficult to contain. Routes like this gave the Bengals problems in the past (see Nyheim Hines running this route in Week 1 here). When McCaffrey catches the ball in the middle of the field, it is even more important for the Bengals to get multiple people to the ball and contain him.The Panthers will also use screens to get the ball to McCaffrey in space with some blockers in front of him. This provides them with an even greater opportunity for McCaffrey to make a big play. In the clip below, McCaffrey catches the ball and quickly cuts off the right guard who has released out in front of him. This gets him moving up field more quickly, rather than having to beat the first defender to the edge or make a move on him.The Panthers will also line McCaffrey up at receiver. From this position, he is capable of catching short passes and making them into short gains just as he does from the backfield, but he is also skilled route-runner who can impact the game as a slot receiver. Here, they throw him the ball on a quick screen. If he could get some better blocking in front of him Authentic Sam Hubbard Jersey , this could have been a very good play.McCaffrey will be a big challenge to this linebacker group and the defense on a whole. His skill set fits perfectly into the weakest aspect of the Bengals defensive. If the Bengals can find a way to contain him, it will speak volumes to about their defensive preparation and the ability of the linebacker group.Film Room: Bengals WR John Ross is more than just a burner John Ross might have been better off if he never set the NFL Combine record in the 40 yard dash. For some reason, it seems like people see that he accomplished that feat and think that is all he is: just another speedster and not a complete player. Those people are wrong. Ross is an extremely talented route runner who has excellent hands. His speed is merely the icing on the cake. As he returns from a rookie campaign defined by injury, can he have the sophomore bump that William Jackson experienced in 2017? Ross’s athleticism is not just about speed. In the clip below he taps his feet and postures himself as if he is going for an inside release. This causes the cornerback’s feet to get wide and allows Ross to release to the outside, unaccosted and gives the quarterback enough space to put the ball to Ross’ outside shoulder. It takes more than just speed to get open in the NFL. Fortunately Ross is a skilled route runner. In the clip below the Washington product stems his route to the outside and flashes his shoulders. This causes the defensive back (most likely terrified of Ross’ speed) to break on an out-cutting route that wasn’t coming. Ross places himself just inside the defender and takes his route up the seams for a touchdown.Ross is not just fast, he is quick. Here in the Bengals’ preseason game against the Dallas Cowboys, Ross lowers his hips and chops his feet to make an inside cut. He has the burst to create separation quickly giving the quarrterback a window to make the throw. Ross takes a shot from the safety at the end, but holds onto the ball for a two-point conversion giving the Bengals the lead. In the two clips below, Ross demonstrates his ability to adjust to poor ball placement. In the clip against Cal (in blue) he gets adjusted to the low pass and makes the reception in the end zone. In the clip against Utah (in red) he not only adjusts to the pass thrown behind him http://www.thebengalsfootballauthentic.com/jessie-bates-iii-jersey-authentic , but still managers to beat the three nearby defenders into the end zone.Ross also has excellent hands, but in the clip below he only needed one. As his quarterback was in trouble and threw up a prayer, Ross goes up vertically and pulls the ball down with one hand. As if this wasn’t impressive enough, he turns it up field for a touchdown. This is the kind of playmaker the Bengals have been looking to put opposite A.J. Green.Making a tough catch isn’t always about doing something ridiculous athletically as was the case above. In the clip below, Ross has a defender hanging on him, but keeps his eyes on the ball and comes down with the touchdown catch. With speed like Ross’ he will be hard for defenders to catch in the open field, even if they have a good angle. Here, Ross shows that he also has the agility and vision to makedefenders who are in front of him miss. In the Bengals’ third preseason game, fans finally saw the connection they have been waiting to see since the team drafted Ross in 2017: Dalton to Ross. Ross showed incredible agility to make two defenders miss and find his way into the endzone. Ross’ athleticism holds up against NFL competition. In the clip below from the Bengals’ first preseason game this year Youth Kevin Huber Jersey , Ross jukes the Chicago defender to turn a short gain into a long one that set up a touchdown. The Bengals didn’t just draft Ross to catch deep balls, they drafted him to makes plays after the catch and he has shown he can do just that.Ross may be the fastest man in the history of the NFL Combine, but he is so much more than that. He runs very good routes and has excellent ball skills. If he can emerge as the Bengals’ No. 2 receiver, the offense could be extremely prolific in 2018.
10  Products Marketplace / Second-Hand Sell + Swap / Packers should explore trading for disgruntled Seahawks safety Earl Thomas on: October 26, 2018, 08:04:41 AM
The team formerly led by the Legion of Boom sits at 0-2 http://www.authenticsgreenbaypackers.com/cheap-davante-adams-jersey , with losses to teams quarterbacked by Case Keenum and Mitch Trubisky to open the season. Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has been running for his life. His best receiver is hurt. His best teammate is hurt. And his best offensive lineman is one of the mannequins at the Nike store. With that in mind, Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst ought to reach out to his former colleague John Schneider about facilitating their rebuild in exchange for safety Earl Thomas. Just over 10% of teams starting 0-2 make the playoffs and there’s little reason to expect Seattle to buck that trend (though they did in 2015 with a much different team). The best team in the division is clearly not coached by Pete Carroll and after losing so many defensive stars, it’s looking like the Seahawks need the chance to reload, if not rebuild. Earl Thomas clearly wanted a new contract before the season, with trade rumors surrounding the six-time Pro Bowl safety during a contentious holdout. Schneider reportedly wanted more than the Dallas Cowboys were willing to offer and a deal couldn’t be reached, but he hasn’t reached a contract agreement with his former first-round pick either. Thomas, who turns 30 this offseason, will likely be looking for a top-of-the-market safety deal should he become a free agent this spring. A leg injury in 2016 is just about the only thing that has kept him from being an every down terror in the back of the Seahawks defense over the last seven seasons. When he’s healthy, he’s the best eraser in the league. Mike Pettine knows that, having watched him as a consultant in Seattle last season. It likely would take less time to acculturate Thomas into this defense given that familiarity. Former Seahawks defensive backs coach Kris Richards now coaches in Dallas, one of the reasons the Cowboys were such a heavy favorite to land Thomas before the season started. It’s understandable Seattle wouldn’t want to deal him before the year, even if the team doesn’t plan to re-sign him. With Russell Wilson, good health, and some luck, the Seahawks could have been a playoff team. They’re already short the last two, and after two weeks they sit in a historically untenable position. They should find a trade partner and play the long game with roster building. And Gutekunst should offer to help. If we assume the Packers would be given the chance to negotiate a new contract with Thomas as a contingency of the trade, Green Bay should be willing to go up to a first-round pick to get Thomas. This isn’t the Khalil Mack situation, where they would have to give up both firsts and shell out a quarterback-sized contract.A first, and a front-loaded deal in the low teens for four years (including 2018) wouldn’t be nearly as big a burden on the Packers’ future flexibility, but would give them a field-tilting defender in the back end. For an All-Pro, Seattle gets a premium pick plus financial relief of its own.On Twitter, I suggested Jason Spriggs and a third if the Seahawks really wanted to get better this season as well. Spriggs is hardly a proven asset, but he might already be better than the guys they’re trotting out there on an offensive line that is leaky, to say the least. The Packers brought in Byron Bell to be a backup swing offensive lineman, keeping some level of depth intact. After two straight disappointing weeks following an underwhelming season from Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, the Packers can no longer be content to play the young guns, as Gutekunst suggested before the season. Clinton-Dix busted his coverage on the touchdown to Laquon Treadwell last week Color Rush Jamaal Williams Jersey , playing too deep and reacting to the outside on a play where he has inside responsibilities. He’s an inconsistent tackler and frankly just not an impact player. Kentrell Brice, after a solid Week 1, played too passively in Week 2, failing to get to plays on the boundary and recognizing routes too slowly. He let up on the touchdown to Adam Thielen that tied the game and failed to see Stefon Diggs running free past Davon House on a play where he has to give help. Those are plays Earl Thomas makes. The return of Josh Jones won’t cure those ills. He’s the kind of player the team wants in the box coming downhill. Coincidentally, he’s precisely the kind of safety to pair with a player like Thomas. And while the cheaper option would be to sign a reliable safety like Eric Reid, it seems as though (to borrow a phrase from Austin Powers) that train has sailed. So long as Reid remains unsigned, the Packers aren’t truly doing everything in their power to put together the best 53-man roster because based on what we’ve seen, Reid would be the best safety on this team right now. It’s no secret why he’s not an option and regardless of how you feel about that, it’s the unfortunate reality of the situation.Green Bay can’t continue to delude itself when it comes to these safeties. They aren’t good enough. Especially when these young cornerbacks look like the real deal, it’s not fair to their development or to this team to pair them with sub-par safeties when better ones are out there to be had.Gutekunst said he wants to be in on every player available. He showed that was true this offseason and nearly reeled in the biggest fish since Reggie White. It’s time to put the line back in the water and snag a prize-winning Seahawk.Go get Earl Thomas.Friday Cheese Curds: Jaire Alexander, Josh Jackson are proving the Packers right When the Green Bay Packers drafted cornerbacks Jaire Alexander and Josh Jackson in the first two rounds of this year’s NFL draft, it was a foregone conclusion both would have to contribute immediately. With one week in their rookie seasons’ complete, color their defensive coordinator impressed.Mike Pettine leaned heavily on both rookies Sunday night. Alexander played 49 of the 70 defensive snaps and Jackson played 46.While both made mistakes, one thing was clear to Pettine and anyone else who watched the game: neither of the two youngsters were overmatched and you really never said the same about the duo’s predecessors, Damarious Randall and Quinten Rollins. It was however only one game and you can’t paint their rookie campaigns on one performance. Alexander and Jackson face a much stiffer test when the Minnesota Vikings and Kirk Cousins, Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen come to town this week. If they can hold their own against that trio, the Packers will be ecstatic. You can read more on their NFL debuts plus four former Packers may hear the call from Canton in 2019 in today’s cheese curds.Packers’ cornerbacks earning Mike Pettine’s trust on big stage—PackersNews.comAlexander and Jackson both came from big schools and played on the national stage in college. While our FanPulse results showed us that Rams fans have a ridiculously high confidence level as the only fan base with 100% confidence, it’s perhaps more interesting that in looking at this game, the odds, Rams fans and even Chargers fans are all in agreement in predicting the Rams to win:Odds: Rams 7 point favorites over ChargersTurf Show Times FanPulse: Rams by 10Bolts From The Blue FanPulse: Rams by 2It’s a bit strange as technically this is a home game, but well...the Los Angeles Chargers are technically in their hometown as well. The problem of course is that the Chargers are suffering from a high level of disinterest in the LA sports zeitgeist right now.So be it. #FightForSomething?PFF ranks LA Rams’ receiving corps No. 1 in the NFL There are some really tremendous wide receiver duos throughout the NFL — the type that keep defensive coordinators up at night. But there is perhaps no better trio of wideouts in the NFL than the ones being fielded by the Los Angeles Rams. Earlier this month on GMFB http://www.ramsauthorizedshops.com/authentic-johnny-hekker-jersey , Peter Schrager echoed that stating he thought the Rams trio of receivers - Brandin Cooks, Robert Woods, and Cooper Kupp - were the best in the league (and potentially all-time). And while the jury is still out on whether or not this trio will go down with the all-time greats, it doesn’t appear he’s wrong about the Rams sitting atop league’s list of most lethal WR pairings. And with one quarter of the season behind us, it appears Pro Football Focus agrees. On Friday they dropped their third receiving corps rankings of the 2018 season. The Rams, as you might suspect, are numero uno: This really should come as no surprise to fans, of any fanbase Lamarcus Joyner Jersey , as the Rams’ offense has looked nearly unstoppable to start the 2018 season — and all three of these wideouts are on pace to eclipse 1,200 yards this season. Earlier this year, PFF ranked the NFL’s receiving corps at the end of May, and once again prior to the preseason. All three of these articles were written by different PFF staffers, and both of the earlier rankings appeared to include tight ends or running backs as part of their “corps” definition. The only mention of “tight end” in this most recent ranking is that it’s the 49ers best pass-catching option (insert evil laughter). If you’re not interested in clicking, the Rams ranked 8th on May 31 and 12th on July 31.
12  Products Marketplace / Second-Hand Sell + Swap / Packers Week 3 Snap Counts: Just give Aaron Jones the starting job already on: October 25, 2018, 07:07:52 AM
Aaron Jones announced his return to the Green Bay Packers’ backfield with a bang on Sunday. On the third drive of the game Kentrell Brice Jersey , Jones saw his first snaps and immediately impressed with his vision and balance, picking up 18 yards on his first two carries. Predictably, the Packers coaching staff used the other two running backs more often on Sunday, but with Jones getting his feet wet again after a two-game suspension, he demonstrated the skill set that fans have been clamoring for the entire offseason. In week four, don’t be surprised if his burst of productivity ends up increasing his snap count. Yes, he still faces questions about his pass-blocking, but the ways in which he was used late in the game suggest that the coaching staff is ready to roll him out in all situations, which should be a boon for the Green Bay offense as a whole. Here’s how the offensive and defensive playing time broke down.OFFENSE (69 plays)QuarterbackAaron Rodgers 69Once again, Rodgers played the entire game on his bad knee, scrambling around a few times and taking several hits. Rodgers completed 27 of 44 passes for 265 yards and two scores, good for a passer rating of 93.5. However, if three crucial passes aren’t dropped, that line probably looks more like 30/44 for 300 yards, not to mention any additional numbers that Rodgers might have added if the drives continued. Catching those three passes alone would have bumped Rodgers’ passer rating back over 100 for the game.Running BacksJamaal Williams 30, Ty Montgomery 20, Aaron Jones 17Williams and Montgomery alternated on the first two drives of the game with only moderate success. Then Jones took the field and provided the spark that the Packers’ running game has been missing, running for ten and eight yards on his first two carries. Jones added a 17-yard run later on in the game and finished with six rushes for 42 yards.Notably, Williams and Montgomery each had runs of double-digit yardage, but finished five for 29 and four for 16 respectively. Montgomery was more productive as a receiver, with six catches on seven targets for 48 yards.Jones should have earned a heftier snap count in future games by virtue of his rushing ability and explosiveness. The team did put him on the field late in the game when the Packers were trying to mount a comeback, a sign that either his pass-blocking has improved or that they wanted his receiving ability on the field. Hopefully the former is true, as that would indeed earn him more consistent playing time. Still, expect Mike McCarthy to keep rolling his backs throughout the game rather than dedicating 40-50 snaps to any one (preferably Jones).Wide ReceiversDavante Adams 68, Randall Cobb 65, Geronimo Allison 52, Marquez Valdes-Scantling 12Cobb put up perhaps his worst game as a pro on Sunday despite playing nearly every snap. He caught four of 11 targets for 23 yards, but he fumbled away one of those catches in the late stages of the game during a comeback attempt. He also dropped a perfect pass from Rodgers on the Packers’ first third down of the game and another on a would-be fourth down conversion that was ruled incomplete on review. More than anyone else, Cobb is responsible for the struggles of the offense on the day.Adams has failed to produce big plays consistently this year, but he remains a valuable possession receiver. He led the team with seven catches (on nine targets) but picked up just52 yards. He did score another touchdown, his third of the year, putting him in a tie for third in the NFL.Allison had the Packers’ biggest play of the day, a 64-yard touchdown up the middle. It was the Packers’ only play that went for longer than 19 yards in the entire game. MVS’ biggest contributions were on special teams, where he downed one punt at the one-yard line and made two tackles, including one great stop at the 15-yard line on a kickoff return.Tight EndsJimmy Graham 64, Lance Kendricks 10, Marcedes Lewis 7After being eliminated from the game plan in week one by the Bears, Graham has been a steady option for Rodgers, as he caught five of seven passes for 45 yards. That included a crucial first down reception near the goal line on a third-and-10 which led to Adams’ touchdown.Kendricks had fewer snaps than usual in this game http://www.packersauthorizedshops.com/authentic-david-bakhtiari-jersey , perhaps because the Packers were behind so quickly. His only notable play was a brutal drop on third down up the right sideline; Rodgers floated a perfect pass to him 15 yards downfield, but he could not make an easy catch. Lewis continues to be a non-factor, and we keep wondering when the Packers will work him into the game plan more fully.Offensive LinemenDavid Bakhtiari 69, Lane Taylor 69, Corey Linsley 69, Justin McCray 56, Jason Spriggs 41, Bryan Bulaga 28, Byron Bell 7, Lucas Patrick 6For the first time, the Packers’ line was hit with injuries in this game. Bulaga left before halftime with a back injury and was replaced by Spriggs, who was called for a pair of penalties (one false start and one hold). McCray also left the game late and was first replaced by Patrick — who was flagged for a hold of his own and led to DEFENSE (61 plays)Defensive LinemenKenny Clark 56, Mike Daniels 49, Dean Lowry 24, Muhammad Wilkerson 23, Montravius Adams 5The big injury story from the first half was the loss of Wilkerson, who had his ankle rolled up on by Kentrell Brice on the play before the two-minute warning. Wilkerson was not only taken from the field on a cart, but he was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, suggesting that he suffered a broken ankle. If so, that may put him out for the remainder of the season, which would likely require the Packers to add a lineman from the practice squad or outside the organization. His loss also led to the significant playing time for Clark and Daniels, as the two were both on the field for over 80% of the team’s snaps. Clark actually tied for the team lead in total tackles with nine and added a pass breakup for good measure. Meanwhile, Daniels did not appear on the stat sheet at all.Outside LinebackersClay Matthews 39, Nick Perry 38, Reggie Gilbert 24, Kyler Fackrell 23On some drives, the Packers started with Gilbert and Fackrell on the field for base downs then substituted Matthews and Perry in on third downs, but to little avail. Matthews had what should have been the Packers’ only sack of the day, but saw it erased by the latest controversial roughing the passer penalty on him. Other than that, he had two tackles and one of just two hits on Alex Smith. Meanwhile, Perry put up seven total tackles including one for loss, but no hits or sacks of Smith. Gilbert and Fackrell combined for three total tackles.Inside LinebackersBlake Martinez 61, Antonio Morrison 23, Oren Burks 8, Korey Toomer 2Burks made his rookie debut, but saw very little playing time despite Washington’s Chris Thompson being one of the better receiving backs in the NFL and the combination of Jordan Reed and Vernon Davis at tight end. He did make a tackle on his first snap, but had just one thereafter. Morrison had four total tackles but continues to be picked on in the passing game.Meanwhile, Martinez tied Clark with nine tackles and added a pass breakup.SafetiesKentrell Brice 61, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix 61 http://www.packersauthorizedshops.com/authentic-kevin-king-jersey , Jermaine Whitehead 15When he wasn’t injuring his teammate, Brice was busy with another brutal game, helping to allow the early touchdown pass to Paul Richardson by failing to locate the football. Clinton-Dix overran several receivers after the catch, allowing them to pick up more yardage. He did have the Packers’ only interception, but it came as Reed appeared to stop on a route rather than as an excellent play on the football.CornerbacksTramon Williams 59, Jaire Alexander 57, Josh Jackson 37, Davon House 6First, let’s discuss House. In 19 total snaps (6 on defense and 13 on special teams) he was flagged twice. The first was for pass interference in the end zone — on a play where he never let go of the receiver — and the second on an awful holding penalty on the punt return team. He was effectively benched, even with Kevin King inactive. When Jackson was on the field, he was largely lined up in the slot with Alexander and Williams on the boundary. Alexander was in coverage on the outside on Richardson’s touchdown, but he and Williams largely held up well — the Washington receivers caught just five of nine targets, though those went for 85 yards and two touchdowns.Wednesday Walkthroughs: What do the Packers do with their four QBs? The Packers have more quarterbacks than they have roster spots and as much as they may like to keep all four of their signal callers, some tough decisions are on the horizon. We asked our writers to prognosticate on the future of all four quarterbacks. Here’s what they said.Wendi Hansen: Starter: Aaron Rodgers; Backup: DeShone Kizer; Released: Brett Hundley, Tim BoyleIt was damn good to see Aaron Rodgers back out on the field during last week’s game against Pittsburgh. That opening TD to Mr. Jimmy Graham still gives me goosebumps. I won’t get into how amazing that acquisition was and will continue to be for the Packers, but I’m excited to see more. of. that. It’s no surprise here that Green Bay’s golden boy will be starting this season, God-willing he remains injury free throughout the rest of the preseason (vigorously searches for a piece of wood to knock on). As for who will claim the ever-coveted backup spot? I’ve got to go with DeShone Kizer. He’s a little green compared to Brett Hundley, sure, but man can he throw a ball. As he has shown in his impressive preseason performances thus far, Kizer has the depth to go far, to pick up where Rodgers leaves off, if and when that is ever needed. Since I really only foresee the Packers keeping on backup QB, Brett Hundley and rookie Tim Boyle will be released. Hundley, possibly for good but I do think that there is some yet-to-be-discovered moxy with Boyle. He’s young, talented and has just the amount of drive to one day get that backup title. Paul Noonan: Starter: Aaron Rodgers; Backup: DeShone Kizer; Released: Brett Hundley; Practice Squad: Tim BoyleIf I ran the show I would keep Boyle as the backup, but it will be Kizer. In terms of performance, Kizer wasn’t any better than Brett Hundley last season, but he was a higher pick, he’s younger, and while Hundley had years to develop in the system, Kizer spent his first year in the NFL’s most toxic environment in Cleveland. In short, Hundley is what he is, while Kizer, at the very least, has some projectability. There’s also good reason to be skeptical of Boyle as he wasn’t productive in college at either Connecticut or Eastern Kentucky, but he comes with a big arm, and has done a good job of keeping his eyes upfield in the face of pressure. Both Hundley and Kizer struggle with their vision, and while Boyle may be no better than a backup, I’ve already seen more out of him than Kizer and Hundley combined. I view backup QB as a highly fungible developmental position http://www.packersauthorizedshops.com/authentic-muhammad-wilkerson-jersey , and yes, once in awhile Nick Foles or Jeff Hostetler wins a Super Bowl, but usually if the backup plays, you’re toast. I suspect Mr. Boyle winds up on the practice squad, which is good enough. Shawn Wagner: Starter: Aaron Rodgers; Backup: DeShone Kizer; Released: Brett Hundley; Practice Squad: Tim BoyleRodgers is a given as the starting quarterback of this team. After that, it gets a bit trickier. As one of Brian Gutekunst’s first moves as General Manager, and one that involved a perplexing trade of the team’s top cornerback in Damarious Randall, it seems unlikely the Packers would release Kizer. They clearly saw enough potential to make the move and it would be a rough PR move for Gutekunst. The second-year quarterback was drafted into a difficult situation in Cleveland where he should have probably sat his rookie year as a raw college talent. Instead, Green Bay needs to re-build Kizer from the ground up and out of some bad habits. Still on a rookie deal for the foreseeable future, Kizer has time to grow in Green Bay and become a capable backup with athleticism. While Hundley has had a decent showing in preseason, he is entering the final year of his rookie deal and may not be a Packer after this season, much less the preseason. It’s hard to make a deal for Kizer and keep three quarterbacks. Hundley had his shot to prove himself last season and was not prepared. The writing was on the wall after the Kizer trade and at this point, Hundley is auditioning for another team as Peter Bukowski suggested recently. If the Packers can get trade value back for Hundley, that would be great. If not, the team has too many other positions with talent that can help the team more than a third-string quarterback that all-too-often did not trust his reads down the field.Boyle had impressive minicamps and has looked the part in training camp as well. He has displayed arm strength and confidence in his arm to put the ball where it needs to be. He won’t get a 53-man roster spot, but Boyle is a perfect candidate for the practice squad if not claimed by another team.Bob Fitch: Starter: Aaron Rodgers; Backup: DeShone Kizer; Released: Brett Hundley; Practice Squad: Tim BoyleWhat else can you say that hasn’t already been said?Kizer has more team control, is three years younger, and was traded for a former first round pick.Hundley had an awful season last year even after he was touted as “ready” and “capable” by the Green Bay coaching staff. While that’s obviously coach speak as of course McCarthy is going to pump up whoever is under center, it was clear that Hundley wasn’t ready to run the offense in any capacity.Boyle on the other hand, has shown better vision than either of the other two passers and might have the strongest arm of the three.Consider me a sucker for (language warning) huck it and chuck it football. He’s as consistent as a chameleon, but reps tend to iron those things out, and Hundley doesn’t appear to be fixable at this point.Jon Meerdink - Starter: Aaron Rodgers; QB2a: Brett Hundley; QB2b: DeShone Kizer; Practice Squad: Tim Boyle Keeping three quarterbacks is a pretty extravagant luxury (or foolhardy decision, take your pick) for an NFL team. I think if the Packers had their druthers, someone would give them a mid-round pick for Hundley and give them an easy path to their preferred “QB1, QB2, practice squad QB” quarterback group. However, nobody seems to be knocking down Brian Gutekunst’s door to take one gently used backup quarterback off his hands, so the Packers are stuck with a quarterback race with no clear winner. Ideally, either Hundley or Kizer would have been leaps and bounds above the other at this point, but that scenario hasn’t developed. The two have been basically fine, leaving the Packers to decide between two versions of more or less the same player. But the Packers are in the somewhat unique position of having essentially a 54th roster spot for the first two weeks of the season, thanks to Aaron Jones’ suspension. For pretty much that reason alone, I think the Packers punt on deciding on Hundley or Kizer (for now, at least), keeping both on the first edition of the 53-man roster.
