1  Parents' Lounge / Coffee Corner - General Chat / Re: How do waist trainers work and how can I use one safely? on: September 05, 2019, 10:25:59 AM
Yes, it is good thing but you shouldn't wear it for a long time!
2  Parents' Lounge / Coffee Corner - General Chat / Re: What's the first step in cell phone tracking? on: July 30, 2019, 10:37:41 AM
You haven’t indicated if it is your phone or someone else’s, and whether you plan to do this legally.

If you are law enforcement and want to be legal then get the appropriate warrant and contact the appropriate person at the cellular service provider to request the information

If it is your phone or you have access to it and it is a smartphone then download a suitable tracking app where you can log in to see the phone location.

If it is not your phone and you aren’t concerned about breaking the law then if you know something about the type of phone you can start by getting hold of equipment that appears as a fake cell, together with some associated software and some directional antennae. Transmitting in licensed frequencies is usually an offence. This will enable you to try and get the phone to register with the ‘cell’ occasionally, so you can track it if close. You will probably need a cycle, bike or car to follow the phone.
3  Parents' Lounge / Coffee Corner - General Chat / Re: What is the storyline of Hamilton? on: July 25, 2019, 03:21:01 PM
Hamilton’s a jerk that can’t keep it in his pants, that’s it, the entire thing.

ACT 1: Jk, so Hamilton comes from the Caribbean where he had this really crappy childhood, but he was a really good writer, so the people on his island raised money to get him an education. SO he goes to New York, graduates college at like, 19, and then hunts down Aaron Burr to ask about the revolution. Hamilton then meets John Laurens(the cinnamon roll who hates slavery with a passion), a guy who we’ll just call Laf because we all hate his full name(a french fry that came over to help with the revolution), and Hercules Mulligan(a tailor that served as a spy in the revolution). Hamilton decides to join the revolution, and ends up being Washington’s literal “right hand man.” Side note, he marries this Eliza chick around this time. WOO THEY WIN THE WAR. So for the rest of act 1(which is like two songs) Hamilton’s a lawyer and is ecstatic about starting a new nation.

ACT 2: Jefferson shows up, Hamilton hates him, they fight about slavery. Hamilton cheats on his wife, then writes about it, and Eliza’s upset, but as shown in “Burn,” we’re not sure exactly how she responded to her husband’s infidelity. Philip, his eldest son, graduate college, and gets into a duel with George Eacker for bad mouthing his father, and Philip gets shot, and dies of infection soon thereafter. (This isn’t in the play, but fun fact, Philip’s sister, Angelica, had mental issues for the rest of her life because of her closeness with Philip.) When 1800 comes around and there are presidential elections, Hamilton greatly upsets Burr by voting for Thomas Jefferson because, “Jefferson has beliefs, Burr has none,” which I interpret as Hamilton saying that Burr wouldn’t ever make significant changes to the country(also I’d like to point out that Burr changes his opinions more often than girls change clothes[it’s a metaphor please don’t kill me]). Burr challenges Hamilton to a duel, Hamilton shot towards the sky, and Burr killed him.

Everyone’s sad, the end.

Try to search special top picks in google. Also you can try some popular websites.
5  Parents' Lounge / General Parenting / Re: What is the best way to apply & acquire a job in Melbourne Australia?? on: July 18, 2019, 09:07:52 AM
Getting a job in Australia if you don’t have PR or if you’re physically not here is tough. Hiring managers and recruiters want to pick up the phone and talk to you and they want to meet you (if you’re in their shortlist).

There are many factors at play such as demand (i.e. electrical engineering jobs in Melbourne are quiet vs. civil and construction related jobs). There’s also competition from other candidates, how much experience you have (do you have local experience?), the quality of your application and your networks.

Applying for jobs via SEEK and other online job boards is just one aspect to getting a job in Melbourne. Networking via LinkedIn and actively reaching out to appropriate recruiters and hiring managers at the companies that hire people with your skills/experience is critical.

If you strike the right balance of applying online, customising your resume and cover letter for each application, networking, leveraging LinkedIn and developing answers to technical and behavioural questions - you maximise your prospects of getting an offer.

Don’t forget to set up a SEEK profile. Many of the clients we work with at ACECIS in Melbourne are found by recruiters through their SEEK profile. In addition, upload your resume to as many recruiter sites as possible (set up a candidate profile on recruiter sites like Hays and Hudson).

Getting a job in Melbourne/Australia is about 90% hard work and perseverance and 10% luck. Timing is key. You could reach out to 50 potential hiring managers in a week. If none of them have any openings at that time - you’re out of luck. If just one has picked up a new project or a team member has just started maternity leave and you contact them at the right time - you may have your first interview.

As Shobith says - keep trying and never give up. However if you are keep getting the same results i.e. rejections - then something has to change. You’re doing something i.e. resume, cover letter or in the interview stage that isn’t working.

Don’t keep doing the same thing if you’re not getting results (meaning job interviews and an offer). Change and adapt your application and networking strategy.
6  Parents' Lounge / Coffee Corner - General Chat / Re: Are there jobs available in Australia with a bachelor of social work?? on: July 13, 2019, 10:24:26 AM
I think yes! You can try job portals, career fares and door to door job search. You can also find jobs in news papers. I think the best way is to use special job boards, for example Jobsora. It provide great search engine, with it you can find relevant vacancy in few seconds. Here is a link https://au.jobsora.com/
7  Parents' Lounge / General Parenting / Re: How do I predict basketball scores? on: June 26, 2019, 10:59:27 AM
It is quite hard. You need to be an expert in this game and follow all news and standings of championship. I use https://777score.ph/ for this purpose, very helpful.
8  Parents' Lounge / Coffee Corner - General Chat / Re: How can I watch a live ATP tennis match for free? on: June 25, 2019, 01:55:56 PM
Check this one https://777score.co.uk/ this website allows to watch tennis live streams and give access to tennis results. There are also special tabs which help to easily find particular match in ended, live and upcoming events.
9  Parents' Lounge / Coffee Corner - General Chat / Re: How do you find good ICOs? on: June 20, 2019, 03:43:32 PM
Start with the ICO token metrics. First, calculate market cap to make sure they are not overvaluing themselves compared to other ICOs or existing altcoins.
10  Parents' Lounge / Coffee Corner - General Chat / Re: Is Caviar still expensive or has been cheapened with modern production methods? on: June 20, 2019, 03:12:32 PM
Both parts of your question are correct. Some brands have cheapened it, however, it is still expensive if you want the best you can get. As for me I prefer buying Paddlefish caviar https://globalseafoods.com/products/paddlefish_caviar is not so expensive.
11  Parents' Lounge / Coffee Corner - General Chat / Re: Can I buy furniture online? on: June 12, 2019, 02:36:45 PM
Yes, you can buy. Online shopping is cost effective. When looking for a specific furniture item, people tend to go from one store to another and end up spending money on petrol and taxi fares. On the other hand, buying furniture online would not let you go from shop to shop and will also save the cost involved in going from one place to another. Online shopping helps save money especially for those who are a little tight on a budget. If you want to find good online furniture shop I can recommend to read Joybird reviews on FurnitureCap, they offer really high quality products.
12  Parents' Lounge / Coffee Corner - General Chat / Re: What is your favorite sport game? on: June 06, 2019, 10:11:50 AM
I play tennis once a week, I like this game very much. Also I like to visit different championships and watch games online. All live and upcoming events I check on https://777score.co.uk/ it is website where you can check results of football, basketball, hockey and tennis matches.
13  Parents' Lounge / General Parenting / Re: Is a Dh 3500 a reasonable salary to live in Dubai for bachelors? on: May 23, 2019, 01:04:40 PM
Your cost of living will vary depending on your own comfortable lifestyle. No one have the same definition of their decent living. The best way to make it worth is whether your lifestyle can match the same way as your own lifestyle in your home country. Nevertheless, according numbeo.com, the estimate monthly expenses for a single person at AED 3,127.02 (without rent). You can find better job with bigger salary. Just check vacancies on Jobsora https://ae.jobsora.com/jobs-abu-dhabi there are many fresh variants.
14  Parents' Lounge / General Parenting / IT related jobs in Nigeria on: May 23, 2019, 10:10:07 AM
What are some IT related jobs that are on high demand but with little supply in the Nigerian executive market right now?
15  Parents' Lounge / Coffee Corner - General Chat / Re: Jobs and Careers in the UK on: May 21, 2019, 05:31:48 AM
Show your genuine interest in a company and don’t let sponsorship or salary be the first few questions or point of discussion you have with your employer - this is the biggest mistake I see candidates making. For job search I can recommend Jobsora https://uk.jobsora.com/jobs-edinburgh threre are always many different fresh vacancies.
