Board games like 'Double Shutter", "Qwirkle" are popular with my 5 and 4 year old boys. Also things like "fake snow", growing marbles is entertaining as well. On the weekends they like to go to "Trampoline Place", "Roller Skating", "Ice skating", "Rock Climbing", "Swimming". Building a marble track is a popular activity in our house as well. It's called "Quercetti Skyrail Mini Rail Rollercoaster, 150 Pieces". I would also recommend a battery operated train track! We got ours from "RadioShack"-it's great! Also "Magna Tiles" is a big hit!-the most played building toy!

I'm aso trying to include in our famiy diet more of the vegitaranian choices, incuding drinking different kinds of milk besides cow, cooking different grains, beans, using coconut oil instead of butter in cooking, making smoothies. I find it so important. Also for us it goes beyond diet. I stopped using any store brand house cleaning suppies instead use white vinegar, baking soda, borax... It heps my house be toxins free

Good day, Claudia! I was really surprized receiving a reply from you. For some reason I couldn't see anyone from our state following this forum or using any BrillKids programs. I'm glad you are here talking to me. I have 2 boys ages almost 3 and 4.5. Both of them really enjoy wathing Little reader!!. My older one, though, has outgrown Little reader, we now reading books and I write words to him of his interest on sticky notes and we play games like that. We've also watched a lot of Tweedlewink and Readeez. It's been very fun and rewarding. What about you? What's your responce and results from using any of early education program?
Thanks, Laraira

Thanks for bringing this interesting poll up. I've been teaching my 2.5 year old boy to read in two languages since he was 10 month old. I was using flash cards an LR later, wasn't too much consistent, not according to Glenn Doman schedule. So, my son is not reading books, or simple sentences yet. All he can do is to pick the right word from two given choices. I think if I was more consistent and maybe was showing him more words a day he would have been able to read at least simple sentences by now.
