Is the book Bill Handley Teach Your Children Tables worth getting and useful for my 4 year old?  Also, I am just learning about the Soroban method of math in these posts, how should I get started in trying to teach my kids?  What is needed?

Interesting posts here...is it worth getting the book Bill Handley Teach Your Children Tables for a 2 and 4 year old or should I wait?  I am not familiar in soroban math at all, what is the best way to get started?  Teaching my children how to read was easy, I'm not a math person myself (although I would love my children to be) so I'm not sure where to begin.

Definitely!  I've made them before and it was a nightmare.

I just ordered the new Memoflix DVDs from www.monkisee.com and couldn't be happier with them!  My little boy is a bit late on his speech and he was happily repeating all the words.  I LOVE all of their monkey DVDs so I thought I'd try their new set.  I even got a coupon on BK with some of my points.

I think twice a day is optimal and the whole thing takes only minutes a day.  The key is to stop before they are ready to stop so they want more!

Our traditional Chinese doctor is adamant about cutting out all dairy, especially milk for any respiratory problems...maybe this will help?  Using non-caustic/natural cleaners around the house can help, too.
