Parents' Lounge / General Parenting / Re: working mom or stay at home?

hi, I am a working mom. I started work when my daughter was 8 months old.. My in-laws took care of her when i was away at work. But, my work requires me to be out almost 10-12 hours per day ans it is getting really stressful, I dont find time to play or teach her anything new.. When I want to show her LR, she is tired and wants to sleep. So, i am wondering whether i should purchase LR or not.. investing so much in it and if i am not able to utilize it..
But, i am trying my best..

try this.. go out of site and say his name,, and then come out and suprose him.. next time try this with a few more seconds.. and keep trying it for a few days.. this will make him understand that even if you go, you will come back,, this will help.. and then when u are out of sight for a longer time and he cries,, comfort him.. but dont pick him up.. just comformt him and try to distract him.. tell me if this works..

Hi, While I was using LR, I found that if it could come up with a planner So, I could keep a plan of what I want to show my daughter . May be you could add it in a playback stats section.
We would need only the planner. I would select the sessions and the lessons.
Something like this: 19th Nov - Session 1 - animals,Birds, Dots(1-5) 19th Nov - Session 2- animals, Birds, Dots(1-5) 19th Nov - Session 3- animals, Birds, Dots(1-5) 20th Nov - Session 1 - animal, birds,Dots(1-5), Dots(6-10)......
Thanks, MomPD

I agree. Hugs will never spoil a child. However, at what time you give a hug is important. If the child has done something wrong, then we need to be strict. However, if the child then comes to say sorry, a hug will make the child happy and confident.
What say!
