My son just started today taking a 3-week refresher course through Infant Swim Resource www.infantswim.com   He had his first lessons last year when he was 6 months old where he learned how to float.  Now he will learn how to swim, float, swim.  If anyone has any questions about our experience, feel free to contact me directly.

We do 3 lessons, one each while eating breakfast, lunch and dinner.  I have the laptop on the table and he eats while we watch little reader.  Since it takes him awhile to eat, I can go through our entire lessons of reading and math all at once.  So my suggestion is maybe give him some food while he's in his highchair.  If not, maybe choose another location for learning time.

I signed the petition to save recess in our schools.  I think it's very important that kids get fresh air and exercise everyday.  Karma to you!

It's very cold here too.  Can't wait for summer! 

We just signed up for a Diaper Gym class.  It's every Friday for 40 minutes at our local high school.  It includes climbing, jumping, running, bouncing and balancing.  Skills also will be taking turns, coordination, self esteem, self confidence, problem solving, following directions and learning to work with others.

I would check to see what your local community and library offer.  We're always going to library events, including story time and attending a music class www.little-folks-music.com and that was physical fun. 

I also like Mymo's Adventure Fitness DVD's.  We don't have the DVD, we just get small samples of it from cable.

I printed off a few projects already that I will try with my 17 month old.  The old fashion color forms are a good idea too.   

Sometimes when I download and say open with Little Reader instead of saving file first, it doesn't open.  So now when I download, I save all my files to my import-export file.  Then to view the files I import them via Little Reader.   I hope this helps you.

Today morning, I washed my dishes and went to buy 237 diapers! Wondering about how everyone dances without anyone to join with them, I flipped over backwards. I think purple platypus' big and fat body is beautifully proportioned yet overweight, though KL said it felt macho to dance with flowers. Fortunately, she sang
