I agree! This site is addictive! I love the whole concept of the program and my daughter loves it too! My husband is in the US and my daughter and I are still in the Philippines so we communicate through messenger only and i told him about the lil reader and about this site as well. At first he was just "oh ok" about it. But later when I showed him through webcam how fast our baby has learned thru lil reader... he became more excited! And we would talk online about the lessons and he would help me think of new categories to make so i can earn more points while our baby learns more things! 

Its amazing really.. This site and its program helps not only child education. I believe it also enhances family relationship through bonding and family time..

WOW! Thanks for all the suggestions!!! Geee... I don't know where to begin or what to buy first... hahaha!    But I will definitely try to look for the suggestions that everyone gave. I took Lila to the toy store last weekend. And she wanted me to open a pack of those miniature pet dogs collectibles (like polly pockets). And she was also more interested on the toys that had buttons to push. I also like your suggestion KL on the Leapfrog reading pad. And if you could remember the name of the toy that you can sync -- that will be greatly appreciated.

Anyways, I've been looking online as well for interesting toys and yes , genius babies is one of my fave sites. lots of good learning toys. wish i had a money tree though.. haha! so i could just pick some bucks whenever i feel like getting lila new stuff... heee

 Hello Mga Pinay Mommies...

Im just wondering, kamusta na pala yung mga babies ninyo with the program? May results na ba kayong nakikita? So far, with my baby, the flash cards are working well. Pero hindi ko pa na try i-test kung nakaka recognize na sya ng mga words. I havent started with math yet kase parang she's bored with the dots...

Anyways, I hope you guys are havin fun with the program and getting results as well. Ang ganda ng feeling na makita mo yung babymo na marunong na mag identify ng flashcards. I wonder why early child education is not very popular here sa atin.

My 14 month old just started walking on her own and letting go of mommy's hand 2 days ago! Yeyyyy!!! I was beginning to worry why she wasn't walking at 8 months when her cousin was already up and about during that age.  My baby is a scaredy-kitty..

I experiment -- i  make flashcards with just the words (eg. apple, slippers, mommy, daddy, etc) then I would flash the cards to her while saying the words out loud. After that, I lay 2 cards in front of her and then ask her to pick a specific card -- and she will pick the right one. so that's how I found out that she recognizes words too not just the pictures.    

I believe babies need variety. If you keep giving them information the same way - they get bored. So we have to come up with creative ways other than just flashing them cards or having them sit in front of us while we teach them.

yes i know what you mean. yes staying too long in front of the screen may cause eyestrain especially if it is too bright. it may be good if you schedule the times that you spend in front of the pc with your baby. and dont stay too close to the screen as well. i think one of the mom's uploaded the domans dot cards in black that you can download and print and use as a flashcard whenever you dont feel like being in front of the pc.... 

i like comic sans too..
