Hi, I have noticed that there is a lot of information on when to start children on certain skills according to what is the norm. For example, tying shoes at the age of... etc. What if I want to get my child started on skills earlier than the preschool age and would anyone know about how I can jumpstart my daughters development through activites etc... Thanks in advance *wink* Brittany

thanks so much for the reply.
I was wondering about my daughters sight actually. I had been showing her flash cards but didnt think she was very interested(maybe I just got er at the wrong times); then, I taped some of them on her swing and have tried to switch them up often engouh so she doesnt get bored. This has worked for me, thankfully. However, I didnt know that she could see red yet...Do you know when they start to and if you have found information on the internet about that could you send me a link (if its not too much)
thanks again for the reply. Brittany

Hi, I hope this topic or one like it isnt already posted but I have been on the internet for way too long to keep looking for a thread and through the categories. I have read some threads that mention "my 1.5 year old" and "my 18 month old" but no one talks about the 3 or 4 month old babies. There seems to be results with the older children but what about the younger ones. I dont expect to see results right away but am wondering how will I know she is taking to it so that I can continue with little reader? I dont want to go for a 1 year on little reader to find out "oops, okay, we had fun but no progress." and then move onto another program. I would rather start a new program earlier. thanks- Brittany
