my toddler is still using both hands but if he prefers to use the left hand, i hope he becomes an athlete so he won't have a lot of competition for scholarships .

goodluck to you on your homeschooling. I had researched homeschooling for my early education course and am convinced that children homeschooled by dedicated parents have a social advantage since they have the time and are able to interact with people of all ages and various backgrounds.

i'm rb 15-3, right handed as well - my son does not have any preference yet - he uses both hands.

hi rishmy. the programs they have right now are little reader & little math (still on beta testing).

other parents are also using the products that are discussed in the threads on this link: http://forum.brillkids.com/product-discussions-and-reviews/  aside from the programs that brillkids offer and i have learned a lot from reading the posts and i think each parent will have to decide which products are best suited to their children's abilities, interests and personalities.

try different kinds of toothpaste - my son likes the fruity ones and because he still swallows the paste, we are still using baby toothpaste. my son didn't like the 1st toothbrush that we used because the bristles were hard so we tried to find the softest one. his cousin though, who's only 7 months older than him, liked the battery operated vibrating toothbrush. i got my son interested in brushing by letting him see his mommy & daddy brushing. now, i let him brush his teeth after i've brushed his teeth and let him know he's doing a good job. we also recently learned about plaque from Sid the Science Kid (PBS.org) and he is aware that when he doesn't brush (which he sometimes want), he'll get plaque & get a toothache/bad teeth and i remind him of this.

my L is now starting to spell & read simple words while my N is cooing a lot & likes to look at what his big brother does.

maybe they should study women before, during & after pregnancy so they can compare. i know my brain's slower at remembering things now that i have 2 children than when i was single.
