My baby girl is now 5 months and 2 weeks.. well, i find this website really helpful.. a lot of things to learn and to share to our lil' ones.. nways, do you guys really.. and religiously teach this LR and Doman's method? For myself, i just have started Flashcard method which i think is still not enough...i mean, i want to have better materials like what is suggested but i dont have much time to prepare coz im a bit busy at work.

In my case, I don't religiously follow any rule. What I follow is my child.
I have LR but I will be lucky if my son will watch and sit in front of the computer everyday.
When he was younger, this is not a problem. But now, he likes to run, he is very active and
wants to play a lot. So LR time sometimes suffers. But sometimes he likes it.
If he is in the mood, I can show him as many categories as I want.

I do flashcards too but not the Doman way. Doman says that you show your child the flashcards
for 10 days, 3x a day. Then you need to retire a word something that I don't know exactly when.
I don't follow this. I just show my son a set of flashcards. 10-20 words in a set.
I will show these to him 2-3 times for 2 days. then review the next day. I will retire these cards if
he knows them already. Next week, I will show them again for review.
And that's it! 
Luckily, he is learning even if I just do this kind of method.
He can read sentences now!

You don't have to worry preparing good materials. LR is there!
You can save a lot of work and time with this software. There are so many bits of information
to download.
Your baby will surely like it.

Naku if I were you kung maganda naman ang kalagayan nyo jan sa Pinas mas OK pa rin jan..   Gusto ko rin kasi ma-experience ni Gabby yung paglalaro sa kalye, matutong maglaro ng piko, taguan hehehe! Ewan ko ba dito kasi I need to bring him inside the mall or in a park para makapag-laro with other kids ( with same age group) iba iba pa naman ang salita merong indian, arab, english minsan nakakaawa kasi di nya ma-express yung gusto nyang sabihin kasi tititigan lang sya ng kalaro nyang bata hehehe!

Im just new to this site and sobrang saya ko to have found it   Lalo na may mga Pinoys din pala. Me, my husband and our 8 mo. old dghter, Iya are living here in LA, mahirap pla isang 1st time n fulltime mom esp dto abroad, la kasng family n friends na mtatakbuhan agad,busy palagi, unlike sa atin na isang kalabit lang andyan agad, sanayan lang cguro    Anyways, im looking fwd to sharing ideas n experiences wd u all, esp on educating our kids...
