Bilingual Books - Benefits of bilingualism in early education
<< < (2/2)
Nikita:
Finding bilingual books in australia is difficult. I've asked people of various nationalities and they all say it's difficult to get a hold of baby books in their languages (Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese etc). I've looked on the web and it isnt an easy or cheap task... French books are from Canada, so there's postage on top, plus books weigh a lot. Having access to books online or through Little reader in various languages would be great. I have a relative going to Indonesia soon, so I'm asking him to see what he can buy and bring back to help learning Indonesian. That seems the best way to do it... hope people you know will travel to those countries you're interested in learning the language of, and collecting books, cds etc on your behalf. Or maybe the local language school might be able to advertise for you, or local clubs, like Croatian club etc might put up a request on their billboards.
