Dear KL & All,
Your welcome.
Almost a decade ago, when I began to study Arabic as an interest in a foreign language, coupled with becoming aware that men, women, and children memorized the Qur'an, I was fascinated by it. Especially since I had never heard of anyone of other faiths memorizing their religious texts in their entirety. (Although a few years ago I did become aware of a man here in America who is memorizing the entire Bible and uses the same method as Muslims to memorize the Qur'an). So, I began to informally research various aspects of it and became interested in second language acquisition. I then realized that it differs between children and adults.
Mr. Doman is correct when he says that understanding the "why" and the "how" is essential for maximizing the learning potential - especially with children.
