How Does It Work?

To become an affiliate, you only need to take a few moments to complete the joining form. After that, all you’ll need to do is promote our products and give out your unique coupon code.

You don’t even need to know much about computers and the internet to do this – you can choose to simply print your unique coupons and pass them on to your friends!

Make sure to tell your friends to use this code when they register as a BrillKids member or buy a BrillKids product – this is the way we will be able to track that these members and purchases are referred by YOU.

You can actually sign up for the affiliate program even before you get your PayPal account. The only difference for this will be that your commissions will not be paid, and will be saved in your account until such time when you get the PayPal account set up.

As an affiliate, you are only privileged to earn commissions off our available products (which are LR BASIC and DELUXE, LM BASIC and the value bundles.) We do not have animated kids book of maths and english.

Affiliate Codes will give benefits to the buyer (your friend), and commission to the affiliate/referrer (you).  During our Affiliate Promotion, your friend also gets a discount in addition to loyalty points.  Now it has reverted to getting extra loyalty points only.  However, successful Affiliates who move up the scale will be able to also give out affiliate codes that give friends a discount.  All is explained on the Affiliate pages.

Like I mentioned above, your friend will get extra points.  If you become a high-level affiliate, they will also get a discount.

Sorry, but we haven't gotten around to putting up all the banners 

For now, you can just give your affiliate code (or your affiliate link) to your friends or place it somewhere in your blog -- the important thing is to make sure your friends would either use your affiliate link, or enter your affiliate code when they register or checkout!

You may find your affiliate link and code in your Account page, under the "Affiliate Program" tab (or http://www.brillkids.com/user/#affiliates-home/get-started)
Later on you can also access your affiliate banners from this page.

Hi Guys,

I've just started looking through the system and i'm very excited and i have lot's of ideas and a few questions.
Here are a few so far.

1. it says we get 500 loyalty points for each person that we refer that signs up.
     I checked my account and it shows that i have 2 referred members but have no earned loyalty points.

2. It would be VERY helpful to me to be able to see who signed up under me.
      A list of each person, when they signed up and what they bought etc.

Why is this important? - If someone is really going to approach this as a business and try to promote your products     as well as they can, then following up with people is a very important part of running a successful business.

 If i don't know who has done what???? I'm flying blind and my chances of creating sales really go down.


3. When a person signs up through my referral, they are supposed to get 10% off any online purchase???

 Do you tell them that as soon as they sign up? Welcome etc. you have just received a 10% off etc???? This would be VERY helpful and i think increase the chances of a sale. Even if we've told them in someway...it's a great thing to make SURE that they know.

Maybe also remind them every few min that they are on the site???? and guide them to the store? have to find a balance between good promoting and irritating.

          I may be wrong on this???? but I think i saw somewhere on the site, i'm sorry i don't remember where, that we could buy other early learning products that you present to us from other companies?? I suppose you have an affiliate program set up with them that you get a percentage of sales that come from people that go from brillkids to their site??
So for us, the people who work very hard at promoting people to come to this fantastic huge site and buy things....all of your products first of course , is it fair and do we also get some small percentage of that since we brought them to you?

As written here (http://forum.brillkids.com/forum-how-tos-and-faqs/faq-the-brillkids-affiliate-system/msg54456/#msg54456), you will only be credited points for your referrals once your referred friend has reached the 5 POST MINIMUM. If you friend has not made 5 posts in the forums to show that he/she is active, you will not receive the points.

These is a place where you can get a list of people who signed up using your link.  You can find it by doing these steps:

 - Mouse over the Account link (located on the top right hand corner of this page) and clicking on Affiliate Program.
 - Click on Affiliate Reports.
 - Click on the Full Report button beside MEMBER REFERRALS MONTHLY SUMMARY (2010-11)

3. When a person signs up through my referral, they are supposed to get 10% off any online purchase???

NOT NECESSARILY. This used to be the case when we had our affiliate promotion period, where we gave all new affiliate referrals to get 10% off any item in the store.  Since the promotion period has expired, the discount tiers are now back to their original levels.

To learn more about what commission level YOU GET and what your REFERRED BUYERS GET, please visit the FAQ page about Affiliate Levels. (It explains a lot of things, such as sales required to maintain a commission level, sales required to get to the next level, etc.)

How to get there:
 - Mouse over the Account link (located on the top right hand corner of this page) and clicking on Affiliate Program.
 - Click on the link on the right hand side of the page under ‘Info Center’ which says WHAT ARE AFFILIATE LEVELS?

Yes there are restrictions. We do have distributors in a few countries, and sales made by them are not covered within the affiliate program mechanics.

We do not advertise that BrillKids Affiliates get commission off purchasing any of our partner products.
