Hi KL,

I have downloaded the latest version but I am unable to find anything under the courses tab. However I found it in the categories section.

What do I do? I just read that in the courses tab the lessons would be numbered as 001,002 etc ....

Why am I not getting it do i have to do something to get it right?

What do you mean you found it in the Categories section. What exactly did you find?  Do you see the BK English Course Semester 1 folder and BK Pattern Phonics folders?  There should be over 60 categories there in both folders combined.  HOw many do you have?

If you chose to keep your old library, after installing the new version, you should have been asked to download a Starter Pack file. That will give you the full curriculum as well as 4 new Categories in those folders I mentioned.  Did that happen? If not, click the Help menu (not Help button) and select "Check for Course updates".

Regarding the breaking up (which is called "split mode"), you can split it any which way yourself, by adding a "/".  We DO intend to further split words into diagraphs, phonemes etc. in future Categories to be released.

I work with my own curriculum, but takes a long time to prepare, so that my daughter see the same words more than necessary, I teach more the Portuguese, because I am from Brazil, but living in the United States, also teaching English, and my husband is from Venezuela, also teaches Spanish, but for the other two languages, I need support, because I don't speak very well. I can not buy the new version and that expensive, although I understand that the program is worth every penny paid. I wonder if the dowloads will follow for those who have the previous version.

I really like the new version, as I just downloaded and checked it, too bad it only for 3days without licence as I dont know when I can get a permenant one to install it on!!!!

My son totally loved the new pictures and videos and I myself like the phonics ones best!

So I say...GREAT WORK, congratulations!  Brillkids team!

But I have one little request though, it would be great if there is the option to get LR through loyalty points even if it means with higher points, as there are people who cannot really afford it or just don't have the means to buy it as well. and also the Lite version for those who just cant afford the time and money!

I don't think I have been asked to download the starter pack file any way I am installing a new system today so I have to completely start over again ... Will let you know if I have any problems ...

So will this course tab have daily playlists like lesson 1 lesson 2 lesson 3 etc ....

Will it be possible for you to send me a screen shot ... because my courses screen was completely blank & in the categories section as you said I had two folders ...

It will be blank if the server did not ask you to download the Starter pack.  But just to clarify, after downloading that, you will see the entire curriculum (Days 1-130) under Courses tab, and about 5 new Categories under 2 new folders in your Categories tab.  You will need to further download 4 MORE content packs from Account Management.

i love the new content of the new LR, but i am finding it difficult to use. my first problem: i don't know to let the words go in random order, also i don't know how to how to delete the playlist or how do i add items to playlist. if someone can help i would really apreciated thank you.

As Questers mentioned, please take a look at the manual, and/or the FAQs in the FAQ board, and/or the video tutorials.

If you are referring to the Course content, then those cannot be modified in any way right now, except by modifying the Categories which it links to.

I have downloaded the New LR and everything is in order thanks for your help.

Only thing is that I have to again import all my previously saved categories into my new system.

Can we not download it at one go from the brillkids forum?

i'm afraid not, but now you should be able to find all the files you previously downloaded all in one place - see your Account Management, Software Systems tab, Content Download sub-tab.

True, I was actually putting off buying LM a few months later. Did expect a price rise, but not so much beyond affordability. I feel I should have gotten it along with LR.

Thank you Brillkids team for a great website! I feel the same way as this viewer. I knew that the price would go up, but never imagined that it would go up this high although I understand that you guys are not a charity organization. 

Before I purchase your product, I wanted to wait to see how new version with curriculum would look like once it comes out. It would be great if we can get  second chance to buy a software with older price like what this viewer says. Like a one-time deal.....If not, I guess I can't buy....

I agree with the viewers that are concerned about the price. Even with the fathers day discount, it is still very pricey. I would like to wait and see better discounts before purchasing. I mean, considering the cost of just LR alone is $300, thats a lot of money and it does'nt even include LM.

I might just end up buying Tweedlewink instead. Any thoughts about this from others who have both LM, LR and Tweedlewink. Which one is better?

Tweedlewink is a good program, but it doesn't teach much reading, nor does it have the flexibility or content that LR does.

Yes, I'm in the same position as these two members. Would love a second chance, I only downloaded the free trial and waited to see the new version before buying. What a mistake on my part.

I just downloaded the new version of LR and i had a couple questions regarding the "courses" section. 

1. How are we supposed to show these lessons? Once a day? Twice?  What method does this course follow? doman? Is there a place on the site that discusses these courses and how to administer them?

2. When I click past lesson 10 it says I dont have the media files.  I followed the direction on how to get it which is to download it from the website but I dont see the files to download..what are they called?  I'm looking for the specific ones for all the courses in LR.
