Sorry, just saw this:

1. How are we supposed to show these lessons? Once a day? Twice?  What method does this course follow? doman? Is there a place on the site that discusses these courses and how to administer them?

Lessons are supposed to be shown once or twice a day (recommend twice), 5 days a week.  It uses flash (right-brain) method as well as multisensory.

2. When I click past lesson 10 it says I dont have the media files.  I followed the direction on how to get it which is to download it from the website but I dont see the files to download..what are they called?  I'm looking for the specific ones for all the courses in LR. 

The files you need are in your Account Management, Software System tab, in STEP 3 (Content).

  I found those photo eye play very usefull. My grandchild got more eye conact since doing them.What can I do to put some in each lesson .

Sorry for the confusion, but that's not the page I mean.  Go to Software Systems, then Software + License Keys tab, then Step 3.

i'm sure you had this feature with the last version but i have to commend you on the printing capabilities for flash cards.  i have to do a little funny work with adjusting the layout for the type of paper i'm using but i'm so impressed with the ease.  what would have taken me days (weeks/months) making and doing them myself it has been a joy to simply choose the subjects and categories that my dd likes and basically being able to hit print.  we are going low tech with the flash cards for a couple of weeks while we (hopefully very soon...  ) welcome our new baby and nana is just not ready to take on the computer world to keep up the reading fun.  the flash cards will help keep everything going and being able to get them done in these last few days has been awesome.  thanks again and again for the great work Brillkids!!

i should also add that i wish i could give karma to all the categories that my dd loves.  i'll go through one day and find all of you... from the brillkids files to all the people who contribute their time to making files.  amazing work.

True, I was actually putting off buying LM a few months later. Did expect a price rise, but not so much beyond affordability. I feel I should have gotten it along with LR.

I know it sounds silly to ask, but is there anything like a second chance for those who were putting off to buy the software, but now unable to...?

Thank you Brillkids team for a great website! I feel the same way as this viewer. I knew that the price would go up, but never imagined that it would go up this high although I understand that you guys are not a charity organization. 

Before I purchase your product, I wanted to wait to see how new version with curriculum would look like once it comes out. It would be great if we can get  second chance to buy a software with older price like what this viewer says. Like a one-time deal.....If not, I guess I can't buy....

Yes, I'm in the same position as these two members. Would love a second chance, I only downloaded the free trial and waited to see the new version before buying. What a mistake on my part.

I have both LR & LM and would like to assure everyone that the curriculum is excellent. I know when buying everything for a child things get expensive. If you can afford this for your child it is well worth the price. My grandson was born six weeks premature and with Your Baby Can Read and Little Reader he is catching up to his age level. His vocabulary is excellent and he is learning to count to five. His speech is beginning to catch up with where it should be. I think he would have progressed further but my computer was broken for a while. The major improvement that I notice with him is his vocabulary. I attribute this largely to Little Reader curriculum, although Your Baby Can Read is also responsible. My grandson is a child who is very active, so teaching him anything is extremely difficult.

I know in trying to create lessons for him, it is very time consuming. Creating these lessons to the quality that LR & LM have been created is costly. They have put a lot time into making the lessons not only educational but also entertaining so our cute little ones will pay attention. They also have incorporated several different teaching methods into both of these programs making them versatile for which ever method you decide to follow. I think different children learn different ways and they have tried to make this versatile for everyone. The latest versions are incredible in my opinion.

I have a couple questions regarding LR.   

My biggest hesitation in purchasing LR at this time is that it is pricey for a product that is not permanently "mine".  (ie: I bought YBCR, and I will always have the DVDs and books).  What I want to ask is what would I be able to to do with the usage of the Little Reader beyond the 12 months if I get the Lifetime membership?  What would I be able to do if I don't have access to the curriculum?  Would I have to repurchase the curriculum again if I wanted to re-use the program for my other children?   (I am waiting to do the free trial to check it out in a couple weeks when I know I'll have a good 14 day stretch to use it to the fullest.).  I am interested in hearing from Brill Kids staff as well as any users that are currently in their Lifetime membership period.
