Hello everyone!
Once again, we've managed to create a forum function for you that will help make your foruming experience much more personalized and much more fun!
We're happy to introduce two new features: bigger and better
INTERNATIONAL BOARDS, and
MY PERSONAL FORUM - You can now choose to subscribe to boards that are most relevant to you - whether it be a language board in your native tongue or a board full of discussions by people who live in your country or vicinity, you'll be able to fully customize your BrillKids Forum!
INTERNATIONAL BOARDSIf you would like to immediately go to the INTERNATIONAL BOARDS, you may do so by clicking on the INTERNATIONAL BOARDS button on the top right corner of your forum page. This will take you to the boards at the bottom of our forum page, where you can participate in discussions written in your native language or threads relating to your geographic location.
Aside from our Foreign Language Boards, we now have BOARDS BY COUNTRY, where you can open new threads and discussions on early education particular to your country:
• Australia
• Brazil
• Canada
• Czech Republic
• Hong Kong
• India
• Indonesia
• Malaysia
• Philippines
• Singapore
• U.S.A.
• United Kingdom
Feel free to talk about local matters such as:• Early learning centers in your district, area, or state
• Places to buy educational tools
• Traditional teaching practices in your country
• …or anything under the sun!
All this information will be very helpful to other parents and members who may be living or moving near your place of residence.
If you live in a country which is not listed on the boards and you would like us to open one specific for you and people who live near you, you may let us know simply by writing us a request in BOARDS BY COUNTRY. As a rule, we will need at least two or three members who wish for the country board to be opened, to ensure that active discussions will take place.
MY PERSONAL FORUMWhen you subscribe to a board, any new topic or reply to a thread within a board you have subscribed to will end up in SUBSCRIBED BOARDS. The topics and replies will be sorted by date as a default, and you can choose to change how it's all sorted (whether by subject, by author, or by number of replies and views) simply by clicking on the heading on top.
This will also dictate what you see on the RECENT THREADS sidebar; all the new replies that will appear there will be from the boards you subscribed to, as a way for you to filter only the boards and all the threads that you WANT TO SEE, READ, and VIEW.
When you subscribe to a topic or discussion thread, any new reply to that topic will appear in your SUBSCRIBED TOPICS. Again, these replies will be sorted by date as a default, which you can change according to how you want. When you reply to a discussion thread that is not in your subscribed topics, it will automatically subscribe you to it, so the more topics you reply to, the more topics you will be subscribed to. This will be a better way of finding replies to your posts, and you can either show unread replies or to view all of your subscribed topics at once.
On your profile box (found on the upper left corner of your forum page), you now have quick access to how many loyalty points you have, as well as quick links to MY FILES and ADD A DOWNLOAD.
