i upgraded to b version and downloaded the first semester but every time i try to click to upload it , i get a message little reader stopped working . help me please .

Hi ShenLi,

We haven't received your report yet, but in the meantime you may want to try downloading and installing the latest LR 2.0 [BETA] version (mentioned in my reply above) and see if it resolves the problem.

If it still doesn't work, perhaps you could try sending us another report via the method explained in this Support Article:

* You may also just use the "Report a Problem" function in the BrillKids Support Tools as this will create a diagnostic report and send your error report to us in one go!

My LR 2.0 BETA version is the one after Dec 3rd and I still get the start up problem.  I have run the diagnostic tool and sent you the attachment.

I try to start the installer for the 2.0 version, it say the installer hasn't has the authority to open C:\ProgramFiles\Brillkids\LittleReader\zh-CHT. I need to use the original administrator to open this file but when i go into this file i could change the administrator as it was locked... i feel very uneasy to upgrade from now on, i'm not an IT guy and its hard for me to find what happen ,... the original 1.6 version was deleted by the installer 2.0 and now i couldn't access the software totally...

Regarding the LR 2.0 you currently have installed in your computer, please open LR and check the version number written in the title bar of the LR window. If it says "BrillKids - Little Reader 2.0.616 BETA," then that means you already have the latest version -- if it shows a lower version number, then you are still using an older version (kindly download the installer for the latest version).

@William: Can you try logging in to your computer's Admin user account (the one you used when you installed LR 1.6 last time) and uninstall LR completely? It may be that the LR 2.0 installer did not uninstall your LR 1.6 successfully, so it's still "partially" installed in your computer:
 - From your Start Menu, open your Control Panel
 - Go to "Add and Remove Programs"
 - Select "BrillKids Little Reader" and click on the Remove button
 - Follow the prompts to finish uninstalling Little Reader

**When asked if you want to remove additional data (playlists/presets, playback history, etc.), please check/select ALL of the boxes in this screen.

After doing this, log in to the user account where you want to install LR and try installing again (you may want to re-download the installer in case the one you are trying to use is for an older version). LR 2.0 can be installed in any user account, so there should be no problems in installing it even in non-Administrator accounts (LR 1.6 can only be installed and used in Admin accounts).

Dear friends,

I have successfully updated the 2.0 Beta Version, i rang the supplier in Hong Kong and they told me when i download the zip file i should save it into document file rather than on desktop, the problem solve immediately and i could download with no trouble..but i haven't had the time to test all the new feature if it works probably...

If there are any more troubleshooting, i would email u for advice... thanks.

  Problem solved, thank you.
I've just reopened LR in case something changed. And it downloaded the latest version 6.0.625 and after that content files are imported successfully!
Finally, we can start learning!

What semester are you missing the voices from?

We are currently updating our US Semester 2 Curriculum as some title voices were missing from there.

Perhaps you could try re-downloading and importing your curriculum content.
