Hi all,
As most of you probably know, Nikki (nhockaday) has been our sole Global Moderator for this Forum, taking up the role almost at the very start of this Forum in mid-2008. Then, we had perhaps a couple of hundred registered members (we're now at 51,000!).
We at BrillKids would firstly like to show our deepest appreciation for all the help she has given to us all this while. THANK YOU, NIKKI! You've been a fantastic mod!
As Nikki is increasingly engaged in her new job, and as more new members come in, we would like to invite one or more new moderators to join the moderator team and help Nikki.
What will this job entail?
These are the basic tasks:
- being online regularly
- welcoming new members
- deleting spam
- moving threads to correct boards
- contributing to threads
- keeping things peaceful
- reporting problems to admins
- suggesting improvements
- accepting free gifts from us from time to time
A global mod must:
- have a good command of written English
- communicate well
- be diplomatic, tactful, and respectful towards all members
- be familiar with early learning, as well as with BrillKids products
