Geelong... Libraries have free group reading sessions for toddlers/preschoolers with an activity at the end. Go for about an hour. Neighbourhood houses or community centres have free kids activities (like ceramics, maths tutoring) especially in more poorer neighbourhoods (more government funding). Big churches have free toddler, nursery/ kids groups, if you the adult stay for the service... though some churches are just happy for the opportunity to influence the kids with their beliefs and values, that they will be OK with you NOT attending. Some churches have a bus that comes to your house to pick the kids up and drops them back to your door. (For a youth group). Some schools in poorer areas have free after school sporting activities to try to encourage the kids to not be couch potatoes, but you dont have to be a student at that school, just helps in finding out about it. Shell the company sponsor this.
