Grandparents in the forum comparing generations

Hi everyone,
I am in this forum because of my grandson that was born in January 10, 2007. He loves to 'read', playing keyboard and mostly intelectual activities. I dont have LR nor LM (too expensive for us) but I am working hard for the promised discounts.
We are from Lima, Peru.
It will be nice to make notice of the diferences in raising kids on the 70's than nowadays.
Hope there are grandparents there that are willing to exchange impressions.
PD: Excuse my english, it is sometimes difficult to get the message through when it is not your language.

Almost a week passed and no reply? It would be nice to change opinions with other grandparents.
We have a program in Peru called '3 generations' where topics are share to find similarities and differences with three persons of different range of age. Maybe if there are no grandparents here we can share opinions with younger moms.

I've only just seen this 2010Bebes.  I also have a daughter aged 3 (born March 2007) and would love to share experiences and see how things have changed.  I was born in the 70's so have vague memories of things being different but of course my view of that time as a child would be different to your view as a parent.
