Hello, LMs Beta Testers!Here's what you need to do when you find a bug in Little Musician:- Reproduce the bug by re-tracing your steps and see if the same thing happens. It is important that the bug you find can be repeated, or that the same thing will happen when anyone else tries to re-do your steps.
- Take a screenshot showing the bug you found. This is not required, but is necessary especially if you encountered an error message or if you are not sure how to describe the bug you found. For instructions on how to make a screenshot, please click here.
- Create a Diagnostic Report and take note of any error messages. This is very important because this will help us get detailed information about how Little Musician works in your computer's particular setup. For instructions on how to create a diagnostic report, please click here.
- Post your bug report at the LMs Beta Bug Reports board. Make sure you explain what happened in as much detail as you can – what you were doing before it happened, what specific lessons, what buttons/mouse clicks, what other programs were running, etc.
** Please create a new topic for each bug you want to report and post it in the Bug Reports board (http://forum.brillkids.com/bug-reports/) **Here's a sample bug report format:
Subject: "LMs 1.0 BUG [Title or short bug summary]" Message Body: - Explanation of the bug with steps on how to reproduce it
- Screenshot showing the bug or error
- Error message text (if any)
- Attached Diagnostic Report (very important!)
