Tatianna,

I think you can purchase Bovine Colostrum from this site.   http://www.newlifefoods.com/index.shtml

They state that Colostrum may help:

    *
      Support immune system function
    *
      Combat bacteria and viruses
    *
      Enhance skin and muscle rejuvenation
    *
      Support joint and cartilage function
    *
      Build lean muscle mass
    *
      Metabolize (burn) fat
    *
      Enhance mood
    *
      Maintain healthy intestinal flora
    *
      Increase strength and stamina
    *
      Accelerate healing of injury or trauma

If an alternative medicine or tool can be shown to work reliably and repeatedly, then it ceases to be alternative and becomes medicine.

I personally would not recommend using Bovine Colostrum as an alternative to vaccinations.

i am not suggesting that Bovine Colostrum is a alternative to vaccinations
i am saying that immune milk is a alternative to vaccinations
there is a big difference

immune milk is
 * 100% safe for 100% of those who use it;

* can be taken orally without any distaste;

* can be manufactured in virtually every country in the world with the technology available to each country;

* is so cheap that virtually everyone in the world can afford it;

* boosts the immune system, accelerates healing of injuries, helps repair nervous system damage, burns fat and builds lean muscle, increases vitality and stamina, and elevates mood;

* is ubiquitous, in that it will protect against any organism (including virus, rickettsia, parasite, protozoan, bacteria, mycoplasm, yeast/fingus, amoeba) or any allergen (including exogenous and endogenous sources), and might -- just might -- dry up to blow away a number of cancers?

Over 4,000 clinical studies worldwide describe and/or support the use of this oral vaccine for hundreds of different diseases.

by the way many many "alternative" cures are found to work reliably and repeatedly
the reason they remain "alternative" has a lot more to do with money then anything else

The cow's udder is, for want of a better comparison, biochemical laboratory. Researchers discovered that injecting a pregnant cow's udder with pathogens or allergens caused the manufacture of antibodies to those substances which were then expressed in her colostrum, creating what's known as immune milk or hyperimmune bovine colostrum.

Tatianna,

I thought that the Bovine Colostrum sold at this site was immune milk-sorry for the mistake.

i know it's a little confusing
i am talking about hyperimmune bovine colostrum
as a posed to regular bovine colostrum which is much more common
regular bovine colostrum while a excellent heath supplement is in no way a vaccine alternative
but hyperimmune bovine colostrum [or more commonly called immune milk] can be a viably alternative
the cow has to injected with the childhood illness for in to pass on the immunities to the milk

Tatianna - Do you know how long this immunity would last?

i am not sure
part of the problem is that while everything i have read supports immune milk and says it works
so little information is easily available to the public
but i will look that up

Morning all

I have read all the posts with great interest.  My foster baby is due for her MMR now as she is 15 months old.

I do tend to think that the smarter we become the more stress we put on ourselves.  When I had my children between 1972 and 1983 there was absolutely no question of not vaccinating your baby and I will be vaccinating the new babe too.  If one considers just how many people there are in the world who are vaccinated with the same vaccine it is VERY unfortunate if the side effects of this vaccine can be directly attributed to a serious condition your child may develop.  I am certainly not saying this can not happen, just that I think it is much more rare than "people" are saying.

Have a great thoughtful day!   confused

I agree that we all were vaccinating no questions asked years ago, but my understanding is that from 1984 to the present we went from 16 vaccines to 34.  We also put more preservatives and artificial ingredients in our vaccine.  I am not saying not vaccinate but...

if I can prevent an overload to my child's inmune system by separating the vaccines, I am willing to do it,  all I will do is go a few more times to the peds.

Also, if my child has a disposition to certain genetic disorders, I will wait until a later date for vaccines if I do them at all.

I have a friend who has a child with autisim and has opted not to vaccinate her second.

To each its own

I really dont know.  I presume so.  I have the problem with my foster child as I can't get that information from her mother and will just have to go with my gut.

But hey, I am OVER THE MOON.   big grin   After months of waiting I finally received Sive's birth certificate today.
(In South Africa we work on half time!!!)

Both my child and her little sister were never registered by the mother when they were born.

As for having a disposition to autism, I am not sure, genetics plays a role for sure (family history) also, I believe boys are predisposition to more genetic disorders than girls are.  I rather go to the pediatricians and additional 10 times if I have to, to be able to separate the vaccines.  My peds are very supportive.  They are just happy I am vaccinating and I am happy is on my own terms.

Instead of googling it... TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR about your concerns.  Bring in your related articles... and TALK TALK TALK!!!  I dont have a medical degree... and wont make such an important decision of my childs life on hearsay... there are many bias reviews out their from both sides BE CAREFUL please everyone

Our pediatrician insist that it is myth that the shot causes autism. Since Colin wasn't talking we waited until he at least began talking before giving him the shot. I think the reason boys may be more effected is they talk later then girls.
