I want to share with all of you this wonderfull event. Yesterday February 21 ad 7:20 am my daughter finally gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Both of them are in very good condition. you can iamgine how happy my husband and i are to have our second grandkid. First Franco age 4 and now Darya 1 day old. Contractions started on Sunday 3 am, we were with her taking pictures and walking in a nearby park in the afternoon until 6 pm and left for home . At 11 pm we pick her up cause she decided it was time to go to the clinic with contractions every 4 minutes during an hour. When we arrive the nurse told her that it was going to take long..... until 5 am. The contractions continue and even though she was decided to give birth in vertical position and without anesthesy, around 5:30 she asked for epidural and contrary to all that she had read she felt more comfortable lying down than standing. And so Monday at 7:20 am..... Darya, my grandaughter was born from a vaginal delivery with epidural after many hours of contractions.
My daughter is happily breastfeeding her since the first 30 minutes and lets hope she produce a lot of milk.
I am looking forward to start applying all the wonderful knowledge i received from this forum especially on reading, languages and music.

So great news!!! Congratulations!!! I can imagine how happy are you...My best wishes to all your family.
I would suggest to your daughter to ask some gel pads, I think that the hospital can give it to her or you can buy them in the pharmacy. They are wonderful, she can put them on after every time that she gives breast milk to the baby. She will feel so relief. You need to put them in the freezer and they are cold.
Kind regards, Gilma
