I did have the same condition during pregnancy. I tried to put my feet up as much as I could. I put a bench underneath my desk and wore tennis shoes to work as much as I could. If not possible for meeting or stuff like that, I wore closed shoes (like boots). This way the feet don't have room to go anywhere
Flip flaps were out of the question
my feet would get so swallen that I completly gave up sandals and it was summer time
Whan I got home I tried to have my feet up as much as possible too.
My feet were swallen for a couple of weeks after I had my beatiful girl
and then it got all better.
