I thought it might be nice to have a thread where we can remind ourselves that we are great parents (even if we do fail spectacularly on occasion). I am sure that each day we have at least one parenting moment where we get it right eg helping a child avoid a meltdown, seeing our children co-operating, seeing a child get something we have been trying to teach them. So I'll start but please add yours too
I am a great parent today because I allowed my 8 year old daughter to make pancakes for breakfast without hovering over her checking the measurements. She gained such a sense of achievement and they were fantastic too!
