I thought it would be fun to have a place to share silly stories about our kids. If there is already a topic on this subject I am sorry! I'll start! I asked my four year-old what we should do today and he told me that I had to clean the house and he was going to go play at the park.

What a great idea for a thread. We have had a few doozies over the years but at the moment I can't think of any. I shall be back when I remember though.

We were at the footy on Sunday and I was in the toilet with my DD#3 who is recently toilet trained. As I was on the toilet she was saying in a loud voice: "Yay Mummy, you did it, you really did wee on the toilet. Well done! I am soooooo proud of you!" Luckily we were there mid quarter so only a few people overheard

they are such funny stories. My three year old has an imaginary friend. She will go to the door and open it and stand there while she lets him in. It is very funny when we ask her what she is doing and she looks at us like we are really dumb and says she's letting him inside.

The imaginary friend story reminded my of my niece who has a whole village of imaginary friends. They all live in her neighborhood and as she takes walks down her street she loves to tell you all about the "people" that live there and their interests, hobbies, and odd little quirks. One day I was walking with her and she pointed to the next door neighbo'rs house and she told me that they just had a friend move in and now no one can sleep in that house because the friend keeps them up all night by jumping on the beds.

Kids are funny and all the stories are funny too. But, marmee i should say this, i couldnt stop laughing reading yours. Its really funny. My 2 year old was hiding something in his hands and told his father that is lost ( sorry i am not sure what he his hiding). When my husband asked him where it is lost, he says crow has taken away to India in airplane.

: : at these. My son is almost 11 months and has just started saying definite words. Dada and Gab(our dog) and for me - Boob. Not Mama or Mum but boob . I think at the moment that is what he associates me with.

I can't wait until my son starts embarassing me in a public toilet My friend's baby sister once asked her why her privates had different coloured hair to her mum's. I can imagine the looks she got My brother (then 7) came out with some silly things when I was pregnant - he thought my eating chocolate would rot the baby's teeth, and that baby couldn't hear if I put my finger in my belly button...

I am due to have out next baby in November and my 3 year old son is convinced that if I go potty the baby will come out in the toilet. I have to wait until he is not paying attention to sneak in the bath room and go.

Cute stories!
My youngest used to call me Bum, instead of Mom. It was the most clear, concise word she said & she loved to call it out loudly in public!

My 7 year old won't take off her halloween costume. It wouldn't be so embarassing if she were a princess or something but no, she was a cat. Whenever we go out she wears it. Some lady actually asked me if we needed clothes for her. she does take it off to bathe, and she lets me wash it sometimes (thank heaven) but she hasn't worn anything else for a week!

My 7 year old was asking me the names of all the fish in our aquarium today, she would point and I would tell her what they were called. When we got to the Guppies she asked "Why are they called Guppies?" I answered that I did not know and she asked "is it 'cause they gu pee everywhere?" I could not contain my laughter! It was possibly the highlight of my week (sad huh)

We are looking for a new home and took our 3 yr old with us to look at a home that has been empty for over a year. The house was a bit musty smelling. We got back and my mother came to visit and asked the children if they liked the houses we were looking at. My daughter informed her that we were going to move into a stinky house with a yucky pool!
